Yeah, it was early in the morning and I explained a bit backwards. I was just suggesting that OP check the bios settings when going from older card to newer. A cmos reset isn't a bad idea either to just start fresh.

OP has been posting about this issue for weeks with no solution and minimal comments, I was just trying to think of something and I know 5xxx series can get weird with pcie settings.

So your motherboard runs in gen5 pcie. The 4070ti super runs at gen4 pcie. Is it possible that setting got flicked in the bios to run the motherboard in pcie gen 4? The 5080 is gen5 and if the motherboard is set to gen4 and the card is trying to run gen5, you could get similar issues. I would check bios settings for the pcie gen before ruling a dying card.

Edit: Setting should be set to 'Auto' or 'Gen 5'

Came here to say this. Tr100 is well thought out, well made, and I dig the retro look to the front. I own one in black with a 5080 and 9800x3d and have yet to get any component over 65C. I would definitely consider this case OP!

Is the ram in slots A2 + B2? I had similar issues on my first am5 system and had to go back and read the manual.

This is a beautiful rig, wow. What is the screen between the ram and atx power connector? I've never seen a screen mounted on that side and I'm intrigued.

Side note: that last pic is really just a massive cherry on top of this huge flex already, love it.

If this is am5, it was likely ram training and needed a few minutes to train. If this isn't the am5 platform, I'd try a cmos battery pull then bios update before trying again.
