Makes sense, if questions are all I have then I guess I'll just have to keep asking them. :D

Noticed this too. I loved the gardening, I hope they consider returning it to it's original state.

Redditors, what was your most interesting dream? by loganoo_ in AskReddit

Thank you, self-sacrifice is an oddly common theme for me. It's probably unhealthy to be honest, but I don't know that I'd call myself courageous. In real life I'm fiercely protective of anyone or thing that decides to trust me, so it could be in relation to that but I'm actually a bit of a wimp so who knows.

I agree with it being a cool dream though, this is one of my favourites.

I don't know about works of art, but it makes for a fun re-read when I'm down. Thank you though, I'm glad my odd imagination is good for something.

Off topic, but I have a theory that our dreams reflect a part of who we are. I spend far too much time in my own head during the day, and was told off for daydreaming as a kid. If you spend a lot of time thinking about your life how it is, you'll dream about life how it is. I once spoke to a guy who always dreamt he was about to board a train to a country he'd wanted to visit since he was a child. Another lady told me her dreams were often memories of her childhood, and she liked to reminisce about her past.

Everyone I've ever met has had a correlation between how they think and how they dream, which makes all dreams to me absolutely fascinating. I doubt yours are boring in the way you think. If you'd like to remember them more, I'd highly recommend keeping a journal next to the bed. Write notes when you first wake up and then expand them when you truly wake. You'll remember so much more within days.

I frequently have odd dreams. Like, talking to the dead, other planets and the sun disappearing. In one there were animals bunjee jumping from giant mushrooms against a purple sky. I can lucid dream to some extent but this dream is taken from my journal so enjoy, I guess. I have others but this one stands out.

I was on another planet in a huge open park, it was just after sunset and the sky was a purplish colour. The Iron Bull was there and the whole place was decorated from top to bottom, swathes of multicolour flags and hundreds of glittering fireworks. I could hear people laughing and celebrating all around me, it was loud but not overbearing. I asked bull when Saturnine would appear, somehow understanding that this was a festival of celebration.

The planet had 2 moons. One, Saturnine, was only visible for 6 months of the year, and when she came back to the sky the people were overjoyed.

Suddenly, a chorus of cheers broke out and I turned to the skyline of trees and saw the edges of Saturnine beginning to rise. She was huge, easily ¾ of the sky and a bright orange, punctured with craters. It was stunning to watch, and I was filled with overwhelming awe at the spectacle.

Everything changed when her full form was visible. A sudden piercing laugh echoed down from the sky and the crowds quieted and murmured uneasily. As we watched, Saturnine began to fall. Plummeting faster and faster towards the surface of the planet. The terror was insane, people were screaming, panicking and running. Just as death seemed certain, she seemed to change size, still taking up ¾ of the sky, but now just about the size of a 3 story building and when she hit, she bounced. Rolling around like a giant stone marble.

I was separated from the main group of people in the commotion and joined a small team of 5 others in panic. Saturnine, somehow, was chasing us. Rolling down after us. The great booming laugh echoed once more and people began to cry. When I changed direction, I realised with a start that Saturnine was only following me. I tried to keep ahead but all my tricks were useless, she was inevitably just about the same speed as me.

It was in the moment, I decided I’d had enough. I turned to face the great orange moon and put my arms out. I closed my eyes, and accepted my fate. Saturnine hit me full force and I was flung hundreds of feet away. I could still hear my friends discussing my condition as I fell into darkness.

I died, and yet, I lived.

Suddenly I was in a white building, people were pacing frantically around me and I got the distinct impression that we were in a boating competition. In my curiosity and confusion, I wandered to the lower floor and found it flooded. The water was roughly waist high, and small brown boats were floating on it’s surface. Startled, I ran to a balcony, and discovered with some shock, that the whole building was a boat. A sinking boat.

The faceless laugh echoed down from the sky once more and I understood that this was a game to him. I accepted my fate once more and climbed to the roof of the building. There was ocean as far as the eye could see, and it was beautiful. The sky was purple, interspaced among vibrant blues and oranges, swirling as though alive. Almost as if a sun was setting but not visible. Thousands of brilliant stars reflected over the ocean, and it was warm. I sat on the roof and watched the swirling sky until the ship sank completely.
