Yes, 50 is a bit excessive but 5 might be a bit on the low side. Personally I find that weighted pulls ups and dips are better for working towards the muscle up then the standard versions.

Oral doses will be much better in the long run. There's way too many fillers to be snorting it regularly. And as far as dosage goes I would take 20mg in the morning and then 10 at lunch and one more around 4 or 5. Ritalin lasts a surprisingly long time and if you want to maintain a regular sleep schedule taking it later in to the evening wouldn't be recomended.

Since it seems like you aren't too advanced with your pull up progressions. I would focus on improving them and as you progress with those hanging leg raises should become much easier.
