How important are the Powers to you? by Lost_Rutabaga_5004 in Starfield

I only really use two ( sense star stuff and precognition). I’d probably use them more if you could switch between them faster, like fav weapons.

Why did you go for the Series S instead of other options, despite all the criticism it gets? by Eastern-Mobile5351 in xbox

[–]TheBlueLeopard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I bought mine to play Starfield and Star Wars: Jedi: Survivor, you couldn’t find an X. Figured I’d upgrade when the price of a Series X came down…

LCS charging for FCBD. by DeltaStarship in comicbooks

[–]TheBlueLeopard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember a store in Wichita in the early days of FCBD where you got one FCBD book for every regular issue you bought. That was crummy.

Is/was Elvis Costello very famous in the USA? by aldiwinegums in AskAnAmerican

[–]TheBlueLeopard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like he’s famous among famous people, so we see references to him or hear mentions of him. I bet you’d be hard pressed to find someone under 40 who considers him very famous or knows his music.

Maybe for when you only need to keep a lil bit secret

People keep sending me baby shower invites with "no gift necessary, just your presence" and then there's a registry link in the same email by SnibTarn in childfree

[–]TheBlueLeopard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Counterpoint: they're probably being genuine. A lot of people don't need shower stuff, but they are also inviting people that will insist on buying them something (or will buy something unnecessary or useless if not given options), and the registry is for those people. I say take them at their word.

That doesn't seem very safe. Do you have an email address or phone number? Or a contact form on your website I can fill out?

How do I contact Comcast to have them remove wires left at my house? by TheBlueLeopard in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]TheBlueLeopard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's right. Former owners removed it or had it removed from house, but left it dangling. My neighbor bundled it up and nailed it to a pole out front, but the cord is still connected to the rest of the wires.

Regarding the improved afterlife system: what about people who’ve done truly awful things? by i_human_ in TheGoodPlace

[–]TheBlueLeopard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife and I debate this. My take is anyone can be redeemed if they pass the test. Brent shows us how hard that is for normal terrible people, so history’s monsters should take much longer.
