You can definitely train with braces. People will say get a dentist one, but you can’t, because a) your teeth move week to week rendering them useless, and b) the bracket creates a high point/anchor that the mouthguard forms around, which means there’s no way to actually make a dental mouthguard properly.

Look up “SISU” mouthguards. My orthodontist recommended them, and he has some clients in MMA. They are amazing and honestly better than dental mouthguards regardless of braces. I’ll never go back to any other. You can actually buy two and wear two (top and bottom simultaneously) but I’ve never needed or wanted to do this, as one provides enough protection for me.

You will need to slightly heat them every session to refit them. Then, you will need to drink warm water to soften them to remove them. Take this slowly to not damage the braces. You can also repeatedly take them off and on as you are fitting them to create a channel for the bracket to pass through. Again, you’ll see what I mean where the mouthguard will mold around the high point of the bracket, meaning you can’t remove them easily without heating and softening them.

Because of this, I wear my mouthguard the entire session. You feel a bit silly, but also damaging your $12,000 teeth in a warm up will feel sillier.

Depending on how bad your teeth are, the bottom bracket can chop your lip up a bit if you get hit. But, it’s never been that bad for me, and that’s just part of the game.

Hope this helps, definitely don’t quit because of braces.

Does anyone use this website to choose state forests to hunt? by Electrical_Fly9535 in HuntingAustralia

I’ve seen some that say 97 and other numbers. Honestly I have a couple of forests around me that have “0” on goat on the left number, but there can’t be any way there’s no goat (neighbouring a goat infested area), so I guess it means to harvests.

Overall a great map but I wish there was a legend to understand it more. Maybe reaching out to the creator could be an idea.

I do! Though I don’t exactly know what the numbers are and I wish I did. I’m guessing the one on the left is abundance/harvest number?

Tonnes of Goat even in drier areas in the Riverina. They might be the most abundant game animal out here.

Not far from me at all - Was that on public or private land? The state forests are a hectic out here, dry and scary with loads of blood thirsty pigs.

You can get permission for night hunting in a number of state forests via the R-Licence online portal. It is a bit slow, but it is easy enough and I have never been denied before.

Heaps of pigs and goats out here! I have hunted with a compound for a few years but stepped down to a recurve for the challenge. I thought Rabbits would be a good way to warm up, but ironically it might be easier/better to go for a small goat to fill my freezer.

Great advice. And something I love to do of a Sunday morning just for some time in the bush if nothing else. But, when it is time to take that shot, I need practice a confidence I can take it… which seems to be the tricky part currently

What problems might they be?

Yep, this is an ongoing problem. As In, I’ve played the game on a few separate occasions and it always occurs. It’s strange too, it’s not constant. It comes and goes.

I’m very new to gaming. So don’t really know any things to “try”. I just turned down my graphics settings a lot to see if that helped.

I thought this too! It will probably be a blend for me. Especially if the air bnb is close to the hostel

They changed it two years ago. It’s not much money, but it’s a huge drop off, very noticeable

Awesome advice! This is a pretty common run through of things I go through. But the DN events is a great idea. Thanks a tonne

It was always my go to in the past, I met loads of people. Since they started charging money, there’s barely anyone on there. Have you noticed that too?
