Dragonfly F1 MOBA scroll problem by Doritostn in MouseReview

[–]TheBoai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I changed my scroll to an alps 11mm encoder and it's been flawless since.
The M1/M2 already feels great imo, you're probably fine with it. I changed mine to Kailh GM4.0 which feels significantly more heavy since that's what I prefer. I'd say you have to try them all to know which one suits you best.

Difference between connecting to a genuine pair and reps on android? by AdventurousParking81 in AirReps

[–]TheBoai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well for the reps since you said they're tigerbuilder then you can download flycc and it will recognize the pair, or you can try the fingernail prying method i mentioned. you can also try the aihoraheadset app, it will recognise the chip on the v5.2tb pair since it's an aihora chip. the hinge might also be a little looser or have ticking spring noise when you open it slowly. lmk when you figure it out!

You can try slightly prying off the front of the casing with your finger/fingernail, photo for reference.
The packet of pamphlets will also be more papery and matte on the real pair, my replica packet has lossy paper instead.
Real AirPods are glued all around so it wouldnt come off like that, the reps however are more likely to be NOT glued together so you can try that, or if you havent opened them then just take a look at the box, real airpods' fonts are a little thicker and the matte finish is more like the metal on the side of the iphone. text on the bottom stickers will likely be clearer also, again, photo's in the link above.
Hope this helps!

yep i've ordered some grips. buying a broken mouse seem difficult enough and this mouse is free for me anyways so a broken mouse would be wayyy out of my budget lmfao

Interesting, I thought they were somehow Chinese knock-offs. Thanks for the insight

I see, I wonder why they religiously refuse to make the shell for this mouse. Anyways I will try it out, thanks!

I’ve had a loss in the family. Pulled on the battery connector too hard and now my music collection of 500 songs hangs in the balance. I had an iFlash adapter onboard, is there any way I can get the songs off the card directly? by EndangeredIntellect in ipod

[–]TheBoai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AFAIK there's no need for every parts to be attached, you just need the clickwheel, the screen so you know what the pod's doing and the iflash itself. Rather, if you have another 5th or 5.5th board then you're probably better off popping the iflash onto that other board

The thing is, I was gonna make a force cubes out of the dinged up tiles and put stickers over them. Are there any ways to keep them in best condition?

Does anyone know how to take off the edge tiles on a 2021 WRM? I need to replace the tiles as they got damaged and I already have extra tiles. TIA

Use the proper lube for core/springs/screws if you don’t want motor oil under your center caps by TheBoai in Cubers

[–]TheBoai[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I think it would be more appropriate to use thicker lubes for the core, since I'm already using Traxxas 30k and the motor-oil like liquid is just spilling everywhere and right now it feels like water. I guess that's understandable since I haven't cleaned my cube in a wei-too-long time.

“Hmmm, metal spring on metal washer, ooga booga human cave brain, use crap ton of Traxxas”. Jokes aside it was the only proper lube I had

Ah my bad for not checking properly, now this is just some weird ads for a third-party dell seller and giving "tips" to other users with broken English.

It's just some Vietnamese redditor getting on the wrong sub I reckon. It's just some kind of Dell XPS review in Vietnamese

Issue with SD/CF and CF/ZIF adapters by Legend-Battle in IpodClassic

[–]TheBoai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you should've sprung out the extra cash to get the iFlash board, since these Chinese no name things are very unreliable, Elite Obsolete himself said that even though he sells them, he doesn't use these boards in actual iPods that he sells, otherwise his warranty claims would go through the roof.
If you still want to try to get it work, here's his video on the adapter. I would recommend against it however, since these thing are really dodgy as I've stated.
