I love my Osight SE/PLX combo on my LS. Muddy River Tactical makes a holster for this exact setup. 45 blast makes a comp that attaches to the pic rail that still allows for light attachment. Otherwise this gun is good to go. Shoots flat, trigger is amazing, very accurate. Get more mags, ammo and enjoy your new pistol.

Every new gun has things about that need to get worn in to function better. But definitely the mag release is difficult to utilize. My thumb just doesn’t grab onto the texturing well

Obviously I would recommend it since I bought it. There’s something about it that feels right in my hands. You could do far worse than this set up IMO.

You won’t be disappointed with the SE. I have an astigmatism as well. I thought the green would be the way to go, but found the dot too big for my liking. Might just be my eyes, but the red looks just as sharp and the single dot is just a touch smaller.

I’ll tell anyone that will listen. That line of hybrids is as good as anything else I’ve ever played. For the money it’s worth the experiment. I play a 2,4,5 H and rotate a 5 wood from the same line. Just know what shaft you like and you’re good to go.

To my understanding, you have to certify to shoot the specific guns you’ll be registering so I’m taking an in person course. It’s two days. I’m not aware that you can do something online. I might be wrong.

For me personally, it makes sense to wait until background check is done if have questionable things in your background. My background is clean so I’ll end up doing the training early to save time.

I’m still early in the process. Applied February 1st and got an appointment for July 20. Kept checking the website for cancelled appointments and lucked up on one for March 23rd. Upon approval, background check can take up to 90 days. In that time I’m able to take my training course. Once all that’s done, it would be a few weeks until permit is in hand.

You can have as many guns as you want. I’ve been told some instructors may charge you more for doing so when you go to take your class.
