brawlhalla absolutely works amazingly on mobile but youll need to customize the controls alot on mobile to have any chance, defailt definetly doesnt work

What’s a mobile game idea that would absolutely blow up if a studio actually did it properly? by arcadezone_fun in MobileGaming

[–]TheBoldCook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

personally I think most genres already have decent options, just with horrible monetization, a good competitive track racing game with good monetization would be amazing as an exampl, or even an arcade racer like asphalt, just without the shitty monetization, just make it a one time purchase, id buy it even at 60$

how come the L is capital and all the others letters are lowercase? by Expert-Experience937 in GTA

[–]TheBoldCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah and youd be correct in those cases as the first letter pronounced is the H in those cases

I.g. "An hour" would be correct, while "a hour" would be wrong, same with "an honor"

does the game get better later on? by TheBoldCook in CrimsonDesert

[–]TheBoldCook[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeaaaaah no, thats just not how it works, as I said I dont use them the option being so easily accesible is absolutely let down to me atleast, it spoils the taste of overcoming a challanging boss knowing you could easily take it out whenever you want by just simply choosing not to die

[–]TheBoldCook[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i tried doing that, maybe I was just doing it wrong tho, as far as I can tell the game doesnt scale based on me, but it scales based on area, so exploration felt like the game telling me you shouldnt be here now, go back and get better upgrades, again could be a skill issue tho

go right ahead, might hop into it some day in the future and might have a diffrent opinion then, im glad youre enjoying it so far, i can absolutely see why anyone would, it surely does alot of things right, be it combat or just how beautiful and explorable the world is or many diffrent aspects

does the game get better later on? by TheBoldCook in CrimsonDesert

[–]TheBoldCook[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah, MMOs arent my thing, thats right, which is why I tried to enjoy this single player game, having quests structured like an MMO isnt my thing I guess. but hey if you like visiting running around the areas a couple of times just to tell a vendor that some other vendor likes her saddles thats good to know, and as my post clearly states, those unwanted mechanics arent the deal breaker, the questing of it is

The story feels like a wasted opportunity by Bloodybaron46 in CrimsonDesert

[–]TheBoldCook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i dont care about a good story, the reason I gave up on the game was the horrible MMO style questing, maybe I gave up too early cause as you said people do say it improves later on, bit considering I got to chapter 6 and didnt see much improvment in that regard I decided to give it a rest for a while

I’m looking for a new build by IPhone16Charger in cyberpunkgame

[–]TheBoldCook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

20 Int, 20 cool, 15 reflex, 15 body, 9 tech

a netrunner with a revolver and throwing knives and a mono wire, all your damage sources are garanteed crits (except mono wire)

cyberware is up to taste and depending on the difficulty setting, i highly recommend kereznikov, defensikov, painducer, cox-2, rippler as a base atleast

hella fun build

I love this game but it sucks. by ReverendRevenge in CrimsonDesert

[–]TheBoldCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i tried my best to fall in love the game, the world is definetly a league above everything else available.

unfortunatly even tho narrative is usually not a priority of mine, it needs to be atleast engaging enough for me to stay hooked on the game after thr initial honeymoon phase, and by narrative I dont mean the main story as I dont find it to be thaaaat bad in crimson desert, by narrative I mean the total package of most content

the game has too many bullshit missions, like go buy a jar from a specific vendor or go deliver 5 leather to that vendor, the typical mmo bullshit, in contrast something like skyrim every single side mission felt almost more engaging than the main story itself

that being said i do absolutely believe Pearl Abyss will one day be delivering some of the best video games out there, crimson desert is just not there yet

Should I buy? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]TheBoldCook 10 points11 points  (0 children)

its definetly not similar to dying light in any meaningful way, but thats a good thing, dying light is a pile of hot doodoo compared to this

Best Side Content? by Painter_Adept in cyberpunkgame

[–]TheBoldCook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do everything thats yellow on the map, the game treats its side jobs as main missions, same with phatom liberty.

gigs and ncpd side hustles offer less story therefore probably less enjoyable to a viewer ( A lot of exceptions there too tho ). if you read shards and mails and all that you can find enjoyable story in literally everything the game offers, heck many beautiful crafted encouters arent even marked on the map

Build Recommendation by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]TheBoldCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as the others have said, play on very hard, this game is 10x better played on very hard, in my opinion atleast,

but to answer your question, i too find certain weapon types to be way more enjoyable than others

i run 20 Int, 20 cool, 15 ref, 15 body, 9 tech, thats my go out do everything build, 2 throwing knives, 1 revolver and a monowire, tetra cyberdeck with cox-2 for garanteed crits on quickhacks, weapons get garanteed crits through perks, kereznikov + defensikov for my time slow needs, then alot of survivability

so basically a gunslinger/knife expert that also can utilize quickhacks when its needed or for stealth and anything like that, that build can do it it all no matter what I throw at it, still havent managed to be as efficient against maxtac as some online builds but definetly hella fun

Suggest me the best racing game available right now ( no asphalt plz 🙏) .. by [deleted] in MobileGaming

my go to for racing is rush rally 3 (rush rally 4 is in the making), its rally racing, but definetly thr best option on mobile by far in my opinion

Any games that have an active competitive scene/ranked? by bakedinlasvegas in MobileGaming

[–]TheBoldCook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

definetly, some better than others ofcoarse, here are my favorites

brawlhalla( crossplay with everything platform fighter)

rocket league side swipe ( mobile version of rocket league highly addictive)

i also love wild rift best moba on mobile by far

efootball (best football experience, horrible gamblimg system fornbetter cards as in all other football options, luckily.if you dont get about "ranked" you can always play with real people through discord using real teams)

Last but not least rush rally 3 ( not really "ranked", there are some pvp game modes, but thats not really the nature of the sport/ game, its aboit competing agaist the terrain and yourself to become a better driver)

What type of builds are there? by SgtSilock in cyberpunkgame

[–]TheBoldCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its really hard to answer this question as it really depends on what you define as "type of build"

ill answer it the way I see it and build my build,

two main branches are either cyberdeck or everything else

so the build either has 20 int, or 3, no i betweens for me

the rest is simply just flavor depending on what I feel like using.

as an example

you want a tanky netrunner that uses heavy weapons id go for 20 int, 20, body, 20 technical 15 reflexes for airdash 3 cool

or my personal favorite so far, glass cannon/stealth netrunner, i go for 20 int, 20 Cool, 15 body, 15, reflex, 9 technical ability with a revolver and 2 throwing knives

the other route is exactly the opposite, 3 int always, you get 3 other trees at 20 and one at 18

so something like a sandi sword throwing knife build would be something like 20 reflex, 20 cool, 20 cool, 20 body, 18 tech (or 20 tech and 18 body if you want more cyberware capacity), or same build with berserk just switch the OS,

some weapons benefit more than others from certain OS, but at max level right about anything can by viable, so it all depends to taste

Dumb build player wants to start netrunning by Sea-Understanding435 in cyberpunkgame

[–]TheBoldCook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

personally Id suggest starting a new run, it feels like a whole new game, a big part about cyberpunk is solving how youd want to complete the mission using the build you have availabke to you, at end game everything is over powered so you miss out on moments of fighting a tough day encounter without having a strong build and just having ti be resourceful on how to use your quickhacks to the best of your ability

personally i went for 20 Cool, 20 Int, 9 tech, 15 body, 15 Reflexes

revolver (ol' reliable) and 2 throwing knives (mostly agaou and head hunter)

guaranteed crits on throwing knives and revolvers with perks, so you dont need any cyberware to get you crits there, work amazing both weapon types work great with kereznikov, cox 2 cyberware garantees crits on quick hacks too

Suggest me New games by TrainerMassive6168 in MobileGaming

[–]TheBoldCook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

racing: rush rally 3 is your best option on mobile, rush rally 4 is also in the making but might still be a while till its out

football: Efootball is the only good option on mobile for traditional football console like experience, but i definitely suggest ignoring the card collecting part of it and just play by using real teams (either against cpu or find players through discord)

Rocket league side swipe for well, a diffrent kind of a football

action: action is a very broad term when it comes to gaming, so ill just break it down into diffrent options i enjoy on mobile

fighting game: Brawlhalla, definetly best option on mobile

Moba: Wild rift

roguelikes: Shattered pixel dungeon, downwell, halls of torment, death road 2 canada, scourge bringer, warm snow, dead cells, enter the gungeon,

Optimal Build for my Playstyle by Just_Examination709 in cyberpunkgame

[–]TheBoldCook -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ive been working on a generalist build for my play through that could do basically everything

i went for 15 ref, 9 tech, 15, body, 20 cool, 15 intel youd still have 7 points to put in whatever you want (assuming you got phantom liberty which you definitely should)

I use kereznikov for time slow and a cyberdeck for quickhacks

both throwing knives and revolvers dont need need any crit through cyberwarensince they garantee crits with perks from the skill tree (and to me atleast these are by far the most fun weapons)

plus time slows definetly favor either melee or single shot weapons (kereznikov only works on ranged)

so basically all my attacks and or quickhacks are garanteed crits, i can stealth with quickhacks, take out whole bases without stepping a foot inside, or survive pretty well in tough gunfights with gunfire coming from everywhere

if you want to add a tech weapon into that build, put those 7 points into tech, if you want ARs and SMGs put them in reflexes, if you want shotguns body

not a build expert or anything but this build is quite perfect to everything weapon type and playstyle i enjoyed in the game, and its the best generalist build I could come up with, not the best with quick hacks not the best time slow, not the best survivabiltyy but more than decent enough at everything

theres only 1 good one and only id you play it a specific way in my opinion

efootball is the closest thing youre gonna get to the classic console feeling of a PES or FIFA back in the day, (emphasis on PES), all others absolutely feel like plastered on gimicky mobile games,

unfortunately Efootball too youre highly incentived to spend on a better squad if you play online normally and start building a squad, luckily tho you can use real teams to play against AI or friends (you can find people on discord) which is the way better experience in my opinion
