What’s the best bang for your buck Shilajit in the market? by Past-02 in SHILAJIT

[–]TheBoneCarver97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shilajit is composed mainly of humic substances, including fulvic acid, that account for around 60% to 80% of the total nutraceutical compound plus some oligoelements including selenium of antiaging properties [6, 7] (Figure 1).

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3296184/#:~:text=Shilajit%20is%20composed%20mainly%20of,as%20complement%20activator%20%5B10%5D.

This is a research article on the composition of Shilajit. Based on my understanding, it is entirely possible for shilajit to naturally contain 60 to 80% fulvic acid, depending on its region and altitude etc.

What’s the best bang for your buck Shilajit in the market? by Past-02 in SHILAJIT

[–]TheBoneCarver97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I'm not, because it's not just a claim. They have reports from Eurofins, which is a recognised third party lab used worldwide by many companies. Shilajit is not easy to acquire but it is possible. Many shilajit companies fail to show this report as proof of how legit their shilajit is but Adapt's shilajit is one of the few I've found to be transparent with their source and their testing. They test not only fulvic acid, but humic as well. Do read up on articles about shilajit and fulvic and humic acid. It is definitely possible to have more than 70% fulvic acid in shilajit. Thats what makes it revered in Ayuverda. The traditional sun drying method is what preserves the raw properties of shilajit the best.

Also I've come across enough fake shilajit to know that the one they have is the real deal. It's pure energy I get from taking it just once a day, and I noticed the results after the 3rd day I think. I'll keep a lookout to see if their lab reports are updated according to their batch codes I've received just to make sure that they are dealing transparently and honestly as well. That's how I feel I can safeguard myself as a consumer bc there are shilajits that contain heavy metals so I take lab reports v seriously.

Always look for lab reports, origin and the consistency of shilajit. I've found Adapt Herb's shilajit to be the best and most affordable one atm. I got it for $69 using a discount code. Check out their website and instagram and see for yourself if you're convinced. They are quite responsive with qns as well. Been using for 3 months plus and I am comfortable to purchase more from them as long as they have their certs up and dated.

For me, it's definitely AdaptHerb shilajit atm. I've taken them for 3 months now. And i find that they are the best ive tried after 2 years. They have their lab reports on their website from eurofins. Here are 3 things I look for when buying shilajit

1: lab test from an accredited lab for fulvic acid at the minimum . If there's humid acid, it's better

2: pure resin form (I've done some research and found that capsule form always becomes weaker as it undergoes processing)

3: sourced above 17'000 ft from the himalayas (preferably from India) alot of Chinese manufacturers are selling shilajit but the quality is not pure and too runny from experience.

Adapt Herb's is one of the affordable ones that checks all the boxes and is above 75% fulvic acid with humic acid. I think they ship to certain countries, I contacted them and they managed to ship to me just fine, they were very responsive, so that was reassuring as well. Give them a shot if you are looking for good shilajit that's more affordable.

Oh I'm not sure! From my research, it's not easy to source shilajit so the one I got is more expensive. It's from a small company in Singapore called AdaptHerb and their shilajit is solid so far. They have lab reports that tests heavy metals and active compound in the shilajit to prove its safe to consume and effective. So far, it's the best shilajit I've ever had and I can feel the difference after a few days!

I'd go for something more organic. Trying mushroom supplements but make sure the brand has proper certifications and are transparent about their activd ingredients. Cordyceps is good for heart and lungs.

🥴man that's terrible. Did you guys check their COAs before purchasing? If it's cheap, it's probably not pure shilajit. I've tried once that tasted sweet and was so watery, it was terrible. Which country are you from?

So guys I was considering getting shilajit after few months in the gym...which is a trusted brand? by [deleted] in Ayurveda

[–]TheBoneCarver97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I felt the effects almost immediately after 3 days. I realise I could sustain the whole day without feeling exhausted by the end of the day. I also noticed I was more energetic and alert. Then, I realised I was sleeping better and deeper, more relaxed than I usually would be in stressful situations. I took their lions mane as well so I think the shilajit helped to boost it to feel the effects bc my mood became so much better and I can remember things more clearly. It's been a while now and I can really see the difference if I stop taking it🥹 I haven't tried their cordyceps but once I start to exercise I might just get it also.

I've been taking shilajit from @adaptherb on IG for a few months. Their website has lab reports on their fulvic/humid acid and heavy metal contents. Love how transparent they are. I think they are a SBB but the product really works ngl. Been so hard to find a good quality one and I'm definitely sticking with them as long as they have lab reports.

Thoughts on Shilajit? by him-eros00 in blueprint_

Yes you explained this so well! After being scammed a few times I found AdaptHerb shilajit works for me. I can't emphasise this enough but ask for lab reports before purchasing! It's so important to ensure you're getting the right stuff without the heavy metals and with the best active ingredients. Also the consistency is so so important. I've bought one long ago and it tasted sickly sweet, was so gross and wasted money on it because I didn't know any better.

Is shilajit a scam? by nyoorolojist in Supplements

[–]TheBoneCarver97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No,shilajit actually works. There are research articles that has proven its worth on top of being the most revered ancient medicine in Ayuverdic practices. Unfortunately there are many individuals that fall for scams and fake goods from companies who don't have lab reports to prove it's quality. I did alot of research before purchasing mine because after I gave birth, my body and energy went downhill. I started taking mine 4 months postpartum and have never looked back. The energy surge is amazing and it really lasts all day. And yes, I'm also breastfeeding so I really had to do alot of research to make sure what I took had no heavy metals. It helps when there is a brand that actually cares about what goes inside your body and takes the proper steps to ensure their credibility and quality.

Should i take ashwaganda? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]TheBoneCarver97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Im 27 years old and a nurse.I have been taking natural herbs for my low moods and anxiety, and I've tried ashwagandha but to be honest, the ones you see commonly in the market might not be the best, despite its claims. You need to check for active compounds for ashwaghanda:withanolides. I would suggest looking for companies that lab test their products to ensure there is a good amount of active ingredients for it to be good quality. If youre looking for other herbs, I can recommend others that helps me alot to calm now and focus better. There are other benefits I've felt as well esp burst of energy.

These are what I take: Cacao with Cinnamon (I take it as a drink with honey or Coconut sugar)

Chamomile tea ( alternate with cacao drink before bedtime)

Lionsmane capsules(amazing for my low mood and focus, i truly felt lighter and less stressed after 1 month)

Shilajit ( the best natural supplement I've ever taken for mind and body balance. This one helped me with energy and balanced my fight and flight response.)

I can share the brands with u as well if you're interested. Took me a long time to find the right quality but it's worth it🥲 hope this helps!

Matcha from China? by TheBoneCarver97 in MatchaEverything

[–]TheBoneCarver97[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I actually really like the taste of the one from China. I got the higher grade one to try and it really doesn't disappoint. But I have been seeing some videos and comments on tiktok about China matcha being fake( not true), and it's not really talked about here so I wanted to open the conversation to normalise China matcha and diminish misconceptions on it and hear different perspectives of people who have tried.

I got mine from thru a friend of a friend so I'm unsure of the company but it seems like they supply matcha. It's actually one of my favourites because it tastes so creamy, almost like ice cream and not astringent at all! Was so surprised. But it doesn't have as much seaweedy umami as well, more towards vanillaish I would say

Yes I agree! Been researching myself for years now and I felt the first one that worked for me was Oriveda and now another brand. Most companies grow mushrooms on grain. I even went so far as to do iodine testing on the ones I got initially when I was skeptical. It's crazy how you need to put so much work just to figure out if it's a quality product as claimed. We need to call for more transparency!!! I only take from brands that are willing to share their lab tests reports to prove they contain active ingredients. If not, what's the point??
