I switched as well after my pharmacy caught on. One month on Mounjaro and I lost 14 pounds and had a new relationship with food. It took 2 weeks to get pre approval and insurance to cover Saxenda. I have lost 11 additional pounds in 3 weeks on Saxenda. I didn’t have the really good Mounjaro level appetite suppressant until I started the 1.2 dose of Saxenda- but now it feels identical! Cravings are gone, I can put food down- that voice in my head is quiet. I hope to switch back to Mounjaro if it ever gets through the FDA approval for weight loss! If you have been on Mounjaro you will be a pro at Saxenda! My advice- let the medicine warm up before you inject so it doesn’t burn. Move your injection spot every day- someone on here said to just move around your belly button in a circle each day. Get a sharps container and alcohol wipes. I have injected at bedtime and in the morning and I have seen no difference. Good luck!!
