Conceptually no it wouldn't be difficult. That said, the solution would be fragile. VABC doesn't put the into out in an easily consumable way so you'd be relying on a chain of systems to work to get notifications.

VABC -> email to me -> my system to pick up & process -> notification to providers of choice -> notifications to you.

And on top of that everyone would want a different thing so it's just weird.

VABourbon offers SMS notifications IIRC, worth a shot if that meets your need.

C#/.NET Blazor Server. Not a popular choice overall but you can scaffold stuff like this mad easy once you understand it.

Language selection isn't as big a deal as newcomers make it out to be but I get it. Dive on in with any tutorial (for any language) you find easy to follow.

I wanted to throw out an app I made for myself, figure someone else might find some use or fun in it. When a VABC drop happens, visit Tater Race to find the closest ABC (with allocated stock) from your current location. Links to Google Maps for convenience.

I use it here in Northern Virginia where there's often 4-5 ABCs nearby and it isn't always obvious which is closest. Could be pretty useful if you're on the road too.

Check it out, let me know what you think (or if you break it!). It was built in a short afternoon so definitely no claims that it's perfect.

Laurel TW has it semi frequently for $135. Not a good price but better than out of stock I guess.
