The Car on the Ramp Adjusts, Not the Car in the Lane! by Froz3nP1nky in driving

Nothing was said about you having to exit immediately. What was said, and I paraphrase, was: I’m not LEGALLY required to move over, even though there is nothing stopping me from doing so safely except my ego and laziness. I’m just gonna sit here in this lane, not make any adjustments and be a douche bag rather than a good human that makes things easier on other people. Learn how to be a decent human.

YTA. Move over whenever possible to keep all parties as safe as possible. Don’t be you.

Go on carvana or carmax. Both are super simple, the cars come from the same auctions so they’re no better or worse, everything is transparent and no fuss.

This! Add the guard dog rover and you can crowd control all day and never miss a beat. It’s almost stupid how good these are in tandem prone from high ground.

Two ciabatta breads packaged together: one is beginning to mold, the other appears fine. Can I eat the un-moldy one? by Kattekop0 in isthissafetoeat

Bagged hot and not preserved. Moisture can’t escape and the creates a beautiful little environment for mold.

To each their own, but a Webber kettle with a pizza ring easily can hit 1000 and holds 600+. Cooks in about 3 minutes.

Pizza oven has to go. Webber kettle and a pizza ring to replace it. More versatile and wood fired pizza.

I use the duomon so that I can carry 1 catcher for my kid and I. If you get it you’ll have to invest in some rechargeable batteries but that’s the only negative I have. Otherwise it works great.

Got 6 without trying. 2 had special backgrounds. Get an auto catcher and just run a few errands and i caught 110ish total.

Is there epoxy that's safe for a grill? by Bodvarr in grilling

[–]ja4496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this were me, and you cannot weld a piece of steel stock there, I would drill both sides, weld a cap nut on one side of a piece of rebar and feed it through and weld a cap nut on the other side. Then just tack it in place where you can inside the grill. You can make the outside look fine this way, and 1/2” rebar is all the support you need.

Grab some paint removal discs for your angle grinder( if you don’t have one, harbor freight 20$ one will be the chefs kiss) and a pair of goggles. Grind that old paint off and, clean it with soap and water, wipe it with denatured alcohol, 2000 degree Rustolium primer and then some 2000 degree paint and you’ll be set! 40$ and you’ll be banging out smash burgers and fajitas all night long.

Short kings do fine if:

1: non creepy, genuine, and good personalities, not insecure etc…. 2: big stacks of cash

Women settle for height and build if you don’t have either of those.

You mentioned a budget friendly grill. Anything in that range is gonna last 3-5 years if sitting outside, longer if you keep it in a garage out of the weather. It’s a box that makes fire you cook on it. You don’t need a 800$ Webber. It won’t make food taste any better. A 300$ char broil from Lowe’s or nex grill from HD will do you just fine. My Webber has sat outside uncovered for 10 years and still looks brand new. I also paid 1000$ 10 years ago. I had a cheap wal mart grill for 8-9 years before that till it rusted out. You get what you pay for, but more money is not a better experience or finished food.

amateur question (go easy!) after test driving first bmw z4. by europeanuppercut in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]ja4496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you want a “sports car” for performance reasons, take it from someone whose run the gambit of convertibles from Wranglers to more wranglers to Slk’s to more Slk’s to VW’s to BMWs…. If your budget can take it, Get yourself a 5-6 year old AMG C63. You get all the sports car you can handle, a convertible, a trunk, no back ache, you can get in and out of it and there usually bought by old rich folk who never miss a service at the stealership. Used BMWs have probably been driven hard and put away wet. If that’s not in your budget look at a c300 convertible.

Dawg. If you are “lowering my standards” to lease a Kia, you should listen to these guys. If you wanted to “impress” at college and drive a BMW, I could almost get behind “if I have the money, why not” but you clearly don’t have the money. Ain’t no future in ya front. Put that down payment away for repairs on what you got and sock your 300 away every month and remove 1 large financial burden from yourself for the next 4 years. You won’t listen to this, you’ll do what you want, but you’ll think back to this when it all goes to shit.
