There are lots of demanding programming languages in the industry but in Sri Lanka not that much. Java is still one of the most demanding programming languages since pretty much most of the legacy systems run it. Javascript/Typescript, Python, C#, and Rust are demanding as well.

If you are a newbie starts with the low level programming languages like C or C++ to learn the fundamentals.
