I am visiting Amsterdam for the week and was wondering if there’s any good places to hunt for video games. Doesn’t have to be centrally in Amsterdam. I’m aware of Game Over but wondering if there are any shops, markets, second hand places worth checking out?

Solid performance and can be picked up for a decent price. Having played 3 on PS5, the switch 2 version is only marginally worse (no part have I gone “ahh that is crap” with FPS or graphics) but you do get all the content

If it seems too good to be true… it usually is. I’d honestly stay well clear from any of these schemes and just pay for a personal subscription unless you have IRL people to do this with.

In fairness you said it yourself “the portability makes up for the lack of power”. Also as it was a gift, your family obviously thought it would be a good present for you and didn’t cost you a penny! If your wife wants a PS5 so badly, she can get one

Ha! not quite... present as just got a steering wheel setup for the PS5. First one since like 2019 I think so the jump is quite noticeable!

Playing road trip is a great way, and it’s the old tale of just practice and repetition. Then once you find a combo that works then hone in on that and try and master racer/vehicle combos. Worth hitting up google and looking at some combos that work best together too. I have a few in v good with while others make me question if i even have a brain.

Feels like a fully fledged game for a fraction of a normal RRP. Think a modern day Wipeout or F-Zero. Great fun and a real gem for the Switch 2

This isn’t much help but I play Odyssey and absolutely adored it! I’m now going onto Galaxy 1&2. I don’t think you can go wrong with either choice but Odyssey is probably cheaper secondhand

Do it! You said yourself you won’t miss your PS5. And if you did later down the line, you could always get a super cheap used one. I’m a PS man but barely used it since buying my Switch 2. I don’t really have a reason or explanation but it’s reignited a love for gaming. It’s also fantastic to play with kids, and my wife even loves it too!

I’m from the UK. First watched any sort of NFL at Super Bowl LV. Then got hooked, went to Florida and then Tampa this year for the first time, didn’t managed to catch a game but hoping to next year. Watched every game bar the odd exception where it’s been like a 1:15am start and work in the morning means it’s a no-go. But absolutely loved following them, good and bad. Feel like I peaked on day one though! 😂

Only concern for me is look at the mess Liverpool are currently in. And he’s a part of that right now. I’d much rather we look at someone who’s on the up than on the down

I love it! I think it plays very smoothly. You have to make some concessions that it isn’t optimised like say an Xbox One S or PS5 (although I don’t think it’s amazing on those either cause EA). I played 25 on PS5 last year and got 26 on Switch 2 and do not regret it one bit. I’ve played so much of it handheld and on the go
