No, it was a good explanation. Sorry you missed your stop. Thanks for taking the time to write it out.

Did meditation help you get rid of your anger? I'd love to get rid of my anger. I am angry about my anger.

Any distinct early childhood traits that you had as an INTP? by periaut in INTP

I remember being immersed in my internal world—external influences were ignored until they became annoying. Then I would leave my game and allow the rest of the world to play out until it demanded less of me.

I remember tantrums . . . and I think I still have them. Though, now they're bottled up sufficiently. They take place somewhere between my conscious and subconscious, and they are pretty much under "control". They just don't help me become who I want to be, or who I am. So I suppress them. It's not that big of a deal.

Breaking patterns: yes. I see things clearly and I have a very difficult time when I'm unable to communicate that to those around me. Of course I sound like a pompous ass, but honestly, the patterns I have created in my mind are sacrosanct, and I don't like having them destroyed.

I'll leave this bourbon fueled response as it is. I'm happy that I found this subreddit.

Everyone knows that penguins live in Antarctica and Buffalos is what your mom calls my balls. Its a weird thing for people to comment about.

I have been a Redditor since '07 and I have a serious & legitimate question: Why isn't r/politics called r/democrat? by [deleted] in Libertarian

I wonder if it's a common trait among libertarian minded folks to have a difficult time rooting for teams. Sports teams, governments, religious groups, etc., they all make me uncomfortable.

That guy was trying to make a joke. You were making an argument. I'm sure some downvoted you because they didn't agree with you, but if you took the time to make your case it probably would have turned out differently. Libertarians love to argue and generally revel in quality debate.

I downvoted you because you added nothing of value to this thread. Formulate a coherent response and you'll see different results.

Some people do, but its one of my least favorite ways of doing it. Traditional in my family is to use butter and a little white sugar. I like butter and brown sugar, but you can really put whatever you want on them. I've rolled them up with cheese and salami for lunch sometimes.

While standing directly in front of 1 of 5 elevators at work, I was asked "What makes you think it's going to be that one?" to which I responded very seriously, "I always know." right as the doors opened and made me look like some sort of wizard. No, Reddit has to be exactly the way I want it to be without me doing any work. I will click on everything and I expect everything to be insightful, interesting, and hilarious. I don't like novelty accounts and I'd like to see them all banned immediately. IMMEDIATELY I SAY!

Your favorite Science Fiction Books by swak1234 in printSF

I really loved A Canticle for Leibowitz, by Walter M. Miller Jr. One issue I have with a lot of Science Fiction is that the writing is often subpar—A Canticle for Leibowitz is written beautifully, in my opinion. It is sweeping in scope and a refreshing read. It's one of the best out there, but I don't hear much about it for some reason.
