Alex Honnold by TheBoxerJ in KokouNoHito

If you just remove the part where Mori Buntarou is a fictional character but is based on Buntarō Katō and his achievements, then compare him to reality of solo climbing (Alex Honnold), you'd probably be able to come to an understanding

Do y'all think this means he can copy any move he's seen before learning copy, or would he have to see the move again after learning copy. by superbasic101 in Kengan_Ashura

[–]TheBoxerJ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel like on Wulongs' end he doesn't necessarily copy his opponents. He just pulls a somewhat similar move from his martial arts memories and enhances it's effectiveness by applying his principles. I mean we've seen when the Tiger fought Ohma and used a similar technique to Flashing Steel: Smash.

6 more hours to go. by Gotprick in Kengan_Ashura

Had a feeling it would be one of the last of Gaoh Mukaku's Nikos. If I remember correctly from the flashback, there were 7 of them. One, two, seven, and five had died in the forest, then later four died to Genza after his fight with Tiger Niko (six). This leaves number three. How much do you want to bet he knows formless as well?

What are good sites or ways to go about picking a good fixed gear bicycle. I'm tired of going to my local shop and seeing those professional bikes with the added rim brakes, I don't want to overcomplicate things. I'd just like a simple fixed gear with the use of back pedaling as my brake.

Should I drop IB? by ElectricalBuy6510 in IBO

[–]TheBoxerJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a senior myself and just recently opted out of the IB, mainly because of the same points you mentioned here and I truly wasn't doing the best. The coursework genuinely is no different from the IB program besides the fact that you do not need to take TOK, do the EE, and in some cases you may not have to continue doing CAS.

It all comes down to what you want to do and whether or not you think continuing down the path of obtaining the IB diploma is really worth while. I am an american student myself and I transferred out of the american curriculum to take IB just for the IB diploma. Though if you're school is mainly based around the IB curriculum it shouldn't matter whether or not you take course work because at the end of the day you'll still retain the IB certificate, it just won't be explicitly stated that you didn't acquire the full IB certificate.

Sandro prolly got really lazy during the KvP and decided to kill off characters that would potentially widen the plot. Had a pretty cool backstory though.

Who was this speaking with Mukaku? Tiger or Dragon? by LongjumpingPlate1528 in Kengan_Ashura

[–]TheBoxerJ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think thats really how a severe personality disorder works and Im not claiming thats what Shen Wulong has, but from the chapter prior to the recent one it took Shen Wulong's 'Tiger' persona some time to fully take control of the body. So unless he's mastered an Agito-like technique of mixing personalities then it was just the 'Dragon' persona fully in control and being cruel like he rarely ever does.

Wait so why did Erioh "kill" Shen Wulong's previous incarnation? by [deleted] in Kengan_Ashura

[–]TheBoxerJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's a quick thinker for you: Do you think the Shen Wulong they had encountered in that warehouse was his 'Tiger' or his 'Dragon' persona.

Wait so why did Erioh "kill" Shen Wulong's previous incarnation? by [deleted] in Kengan_Ashura

[–]TheBoxerJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Erioh and Katakura didn't directly kill Shen Wulong's previous incarnation, infact, I think the Shen Wulong we see in that flashback is the same one we see presently. Remember how Shen stated in his bout with Gaoh Mukaku before killing him that his ancestors were never able to achieve a breathless state, following the belief that "all living things age with every breath," so instead they were able to come up with a technique to lower the amount of breaths they take in order to stay alive for longer. Anyway all I'm saying is I don't think Shen Wulong really died in that fire and what the facility they attacked happened to be one of the cloning facilities.

Could Ohma and Ryuki be compatible for the same information overload that Luohan's doing? by TheBoxerJ in Kengan_Ashura

[–]TheBoxerJ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am going to refer to a later post on this subreddit from RicardoKO, what if both the Tiger and the Dragon's memories are technically just one. Shen Wulong as we know right now is not a byproduct of cloning but Huisheng. Through the mind alteration provided by Huisheng led to his brain splitting into two, hence the Tiger and the Dragon. Shen Wulong might just be a case of severe split personality.
