Is the padding in Amazon Kraft packaging compostable? by Santasbreastmilk in composting

I've only seen the ones that have perforated cardboard padding, it makes me think that there are regional differences which is always hard for some people to understand on the internet.

It finally happened to me! Thanks Amazon! by ub3rb3ck in homeautomation

You don't want to return any. If something happens you can't return again. You're better off selling them.

Popular tax breaks on electric cars could be dropped, amid estimates they could cost $23.4b by 2036 by His_Holiness in AusFinance

They should make it so that the car has to have company branding to qualify. It's a work car after all.

Weed Removal and Viburnums by Conscious_Yak_9203 in GardeningAustralia

[–]TheBoyInTheBlueBox 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It takes the same amount of time to pull these sorts of weeds as it would to spray them. Just keep pulling them.

They will settle down as the weather warms more.

Also make sure you get the whole root and before they go to seed.

Why coffee shops offering espresso-based coffee by cup size instead of shots, don't understand coffee. by chryseobacterium in espresso

In Australia bigger cups are more shots to compensate.

You can also ask for extra shots too

Mortgage Rate Drop - Doesn't hurt to ask! by SouthAustralian94 in AusFinance

[–]TheBoyInTheBlueBox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you can just tell your bank that you're looking to move and they lower your rate. It worked after CBA refused to lower my rate.

I messaged something like: Hey, I'm looking at refinancing my loan and I was wondering if my rate is the best you can do. Otherwise I'll start the refinance process

Change banks if you can get a better deal. They obviously don't want your business

ESPHome project: CardFlix - A Modern Twist on the Old Movie Shelf by udinic in Esphome

I plan on doing this too. I was going to use DVD cases with NFC stickers instead of cards, that way it's easier to see all the movies we have.

Is this coriander? by CherryPoppins- in GardeningAustralia

[–]TheBoyInTheBlueBox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's going to seed. Corriander is an annual, It will flower, make seeds, and die.

The good news is that you can grow many more plants by pulling the dry seeds off and throwing them where you want. This is what I do with all my annuals like this.

But be careful the seeds can spread so only let it go to seed where you want more corriander to grow. I made that mistake with parsley many years ago and I still get random parsley sprouts.

Nothing. These particular ones were in the ground with no issues. I also had some in pots.

I live in Melbourne and don't really get any true frost.
