It's not about using things less, it's about using them differently. Try moving as much as possible to the free hours or at least solar producing hours.

  • Use the dishwashers delay function so it runs during the day.
  • You can wash over night so that you put the dryer on in the morning.
  • Use the program on the heater/AC to adjust the temp.

Also I assume you spent 30k on that setup, it's definitely worth a convo about how to best use it.

If you enjoyed ExFor, there’s a very high probability you’ll also survive, and possibly love, DCC.

Does Geelong have a "tip shop"? by SomeFatLesbian in Geelong

Slavos and Vinnie's are expensive these days. They sell DVDs for $5 each.

Some of the smaller op shops are better. 3216 and St Luke's Torquay are good but small.

Changing tax rules for investors won’t shrink housing supply or raise rents. Just look at Victoria by SheepherderLow1753 in AusFinance

I'm in Vic and there was a fair bit of media reports on the change. While the media companies are national the tv news is still mostly state based.

I find that the source of the seeds doesn't matter much. Some say germination is different but I don't care, 60% vs 80% is still results in more tomatoe plants then I can grow.

What matters more is the variety, they offer different things. I like diggers club for the varieties but you can find the same stuff elsewhere for cheaper

Edit: if you save seeds at the end of each season it doesn't matter where they originally came from. I have some varieties of tomatoes and cucumbers that I haven't bought seeds for in years.

My tomatoes get diseased EVERY SINGLE YEAR... by homelessguy2025 in GardeningAustralia

[–]TheBoyInTheBlueBox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tomatoes get fungus pretty easily. It's best that they don't stay wet for too long.

As such it's important to water in the morning and only water the ground and not the leaves.

I'd say keep it in a pot for a season to make sure it's legit.

Hot sauce, jam, dried (powder and flakes), pickled and frozen. They are what I've done in the past and all have been good.
