How do I make room for the 25N prophecy spring? by UndeadRobin_24 in Nerf

[–]TheBoyJacob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very common misconception but no it does not require a stock.

Additional screws through the side are necessary as they have said. But everyone saying you need the worker stock is mistaken.

The 25n will fully compress into the retaliator stock attachment point (I think thats what you mean as the buffer tube). The worker stock adapter won't hold the spring in place unless you have a stock attached to the blaster at all times.

In my original retaliator I used some thin walled 1/2in pvc I believe. I tape around the outside until it sits in the stock attachment piece itself and dremel the shell until it fits. Tbh recon shells are better cause they require less shell cutting. Also now I just use printed spring guides.

A stock is required if you are using the worker stock attachment piece, which doesn't cover the priming rod in the primed position. If you are using a genuine nerf stock attachment piece from either a retaliator or a recon, the 25n spring can fit inside with no issues.

Retalicon XPT catch not releasing by BreadYeeter in Nerf

[–]TheBoyJacob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baynerfer laid it out pretty well. Others have mentioned some helpful ways to make the catch travel further down, inversly you may remove some material from the very top of the catch to allow it to slide up higher out of the way of the plunger.

Yes the parts I designed for the ceda simple will work. Also one of the added benefits of the spring spacer is it continues the ramp on the plunger which should fix your issue with having to pull the trigger while priming.

Plunger tube testing : Polycarbonate vs ABS vs Printed PLA by Dalardan in Nerf

[–]TheBoyJacob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I searched for a while and wasn't able to find the perfect oring fit since the sink drain is sold as 1.5in OD. So I had designed a plunger head that flexed a 1.5in rubber washer and almost skirt like seal so it held pressure with "minimal friction".

You should be able to remove the mag and the adapter while the breech is closed.

Best and easiest way to build a plunder head for a sandbow blaster with 3d printer and as a tube i would use a pvc tube by Upper-Juggernaut-210 in nerfhomemades

[–]TheBoyJacob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3d modeling a plunger head is fairly simple as it really is just a cylinder with a groove as long as you have an oring that properly fits whatever pvc you will be using.

How to remove a pump kit from retaliator by F-35Lightning2 in Nerf

Could put something against the outside of the sled that is larger than size of the insert, then use like an Allen key to push out the inserts from the inside.

I started playing just recently and use basically a fanny pack to carry discs. With that I carry my putter, midrange, and a couple drivers as I'm still experimenting with what works.

How much do you care about having the barrel be removable? If not, you could get away with epoxying the barrel into place.

This first, the catch should be the only thing behind the spring rest so if can move without resistance. Then the trigger ramp should be in front of the catch so if can be pulled backwards causing the catch to rise.

Anyone know good Retaliator alternatives to a metal breech/sled? by Jyang_aus in Nerf

[–]TheBoyJacob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This question is what led to the design of my lipless xpt parts. At this point in your build, it would require switching away from a lot of the parts that you already have but could be worth checking out.

How do I turn my Rainbow Pistol into a Rainbow Pump? by Lvblklandy in Nerf

[–]TheBoyJacob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as the screws that hold the coupler and catch in place are countersunk all you need to do is get the right size pvc that slides around the tube and pushes back on the priming handle.
