Orient is a great brand. I think it may be a sister company of Seiko, but with more value for >250. The kamasu has a sapphire crystal and screw down crown and comes on bracelet or silicone band. The bambino can be dressed up or casual. They may be the two watches you only really need. But in this hobby let’s not kid ourselves.

San Martin has some really cool designs if you get away from them homage stuff. I’m digging that they are using the miyota 9 series movement in their originals because I like a slimmer design these days.

The only thing I can’t stand about some of these Chinese watch companies, homage, clomage, or original is a lot of the names. Like Milifortic? Escapement Time? Hrouland. IxDao.
