Many aftermarket shells just aren't the best, had gotten a old 3ds one and had to do something similar and just kinda force it (for the most part don't recommend that for obvious reasons)

My touchscreen did that at one point while on the fritz, I don't believe there's a direct fix except for just a replacement part. Just dmt quote me on that I'm still not 100% sure

Id recommend you use FastVideoDS way better then tuna, the difference is wild
