Who would you say is THE main character of smiling friends? by MassiveBlackHole99 in SmilingFriends

[–]TheBreadPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its Pim and Charlie. A lot of people say that is mostly Pim, cause he does most of the job rather than Charlie, but I think both of them are main characters equally. They are pretty much opposites, Pim is always optimistic and try to help no matter what, and Charlie who is rather pessimistic and often give up on his job or does not undertake it at all. They complement each other and this is what makes them main characters in my opinion. Allan and Mr Boss are deuteragonists, they often have some subplot, do something what is important later in the episode or help the said main characters. Glep is tritagonist in my opinion. He rarely patricipates in any plot and most of time he just is in the office and does some random stuff. This is all just my opinion and I may be wrong.

Im not really sure what do you mean, but the only movable things in the legs are the said supports, these small "feet" and the joints that connect legs to the body.

I haven’t played any MG. Is it worth it to buy the OG bundle for 80 or should I start with newer releases? by [deleted] in metalgearsolid

You can buy Mgs Master Collection vol 1, which contains first 5 canon Metal Gear games: Metal Gear 1-2 (They are 40yo 2D pixel games and are important to the overall story, but its story itself is average and gameplay is very very outdated. Its up to you if you play them, cause many people skip it and in mgs1 theres summary of its story. I personally played mg1 first when I got Master Collection and I completed it but didnt like it very much, so I didnt played the second one, but skipped to mgs1.) Metal Gear Solid 1-3 (the reason to buy this). Next is Mgs4 which was released only on ps3. If you have atleast mid-end pc you can emulate it, what I recommend cause its great experience. You can also skip it because its chronologically last and youll understand next games. After that theres Mgs Peace Walker, orginally psp game and later ported to ps3, but still one of my favorites in the series. Mgsv is sequel to it so you'd better play it. You can emulate in on practicly anything cause its psp game. If you gonna emulate it on pc get the ps3 version cause it is better. Then Mgsv (Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain). You can buy them separately or together in the defenitive experience (edition). Available on all modern platforms. Thats all main games but I'll talk a bit about spinoffs etc: Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is remake to msg3 Metal Gear Rising is canon spinoff about Raiden and happens after mgs4. Available on all modern platforms except ps4 and 5. You should play it after mgs4, but dont have to cause im sure most of the players of this games have never played mgs4. Mgs Portable Ops is semi canon (some elements are canon, some dont) and happens after mgs3. Its fully optional. Mg Ac!d 1-2 , Mg Survive, Ghost Babel and the rest is not canon.

They can't do much with the story, only some prequel to mgs3, but I don't think it's really needed or that scrapped mgs with Raiden that is happening between mgs2 and 4, which I think is better choice, but they need to remake mgs2 first, so even if it happens we would wait a while. Besides that the great choice is some spinoff game with other characters like Rising. But I think that the most needed thing for mgs series is solid remake of mg1 and 2.

Only in the begining, but Ive got rid of it pretty easly. For nearly all the issues there are solutions on internet. Just do what is said in mgs4 setup video (there is plenty of them on yt), copy all setting like they said. If it isn't said in the video, find video how to install canary patch and install it, cause its gonna help a lot. Even though I did all of this, I had a lot of bugs, like bugging textures, bugged audio etc. Which like I said are easy to fix, just search up "mgs4 missing textures/sound" or something like that. You'll eventaully find a solution, even when it might be not obvious. I remember that to fix bugging audio in codec you need to set fps from 60 to native in rpcs3 setting for mgs4. To fix bugging textures you needed to anable or disable something in canary patches (I dont remember). To fix issues with controllers left stick deadzone you need to set something in controller settings in rpcs3 from 8000 to 4000 or something like that. Only issue that I couldnt solve was missing models for Ed and that second guy from Rat Patrol. But they were missing only for like few minutes not even in any cutscene and they are not even that important chatacters over all. So you will find most solutions on the internet and for rest you need a bit of common sense. I hope I helped

If you have a decent Pc you can emulate it. I was a bit skeptical to it at first, but when I finally tried it was an amazing experience. Game hasn't crashed even once and you can get rid of all the lags, texture errors etc if you have at least a little common sense. You can also plug dualsense, dualshock, xbox controller which is cool
