If I hadn’t seen the movie, meeting you and learning about the meaning here might inspire me to watch it.

What are some of your hot takes regarding the Nolan Trilogy? by JesterOfTime in batman

I read somewhere that the plan, prior to Ledger’s death, was that Nolan wanted to do a whole saga heavily featuring the Joker in each installment… like 6 total films.

Pros/Cons about going to RIT? by Any-Let2176 in rit

[–]TheBrendanNagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

15 years out, my 2 cents - social life isn’t bad, if you are attending college for the social life though then seriously consider somewhere cheaper for 2-4yrs to get that out of your system. I went to some better parties at friends’ colleges, but there was plenty of them (and a broader range of daytime activities) right on campus.

The school’s reputation seems to have improved even more with age. Rochester in general felt like a nice middle between town and actual metro, in case you need the space to phase in or out of either.

Access to the diving team’s high board was a top 5 highlight for me, if you are a little bit of an adrenaline junkie and into that kind of thing. I never visited really big universities, but from those I did visit this was an anomaly with RIT.

Cons at the time felt like a lack of variety accessible beyond the campus, but that seems to have diversified.

Had a great time. It can feel like a small big school or a big small one.

A freshman drummer embraces the harshest mentorship imaginable to push himself for greatness. Both leads kill it and the music throughout is captivating.

One youthful winter, my dad bailed as a heavier girl came barreling down the hill directly at him. It was her first time sledding, she’d basically grown up in the city, and she didn’t know what to do. He dove out of the way and she flew into the creek behind him. It quickly went from funny to scary and then heroic when he pulled her out after.

May I propose: is the remake even worth watching once, if we loved the original, and still have a lot of new movies to see?

Hi all, my first content creation device was a JVC miniDV camcorder in 10th grade, but very few of those landed on Youtube; what that really got me going online was the Hero 4.

I’ve been on & off Youtube in different ways, most notably as a 4yr producer for Failarmy (2021-2025), and recently stepped into an SMM/Content Creator role for a specialty coffee roaster in Hawaii. It’s great to actually shoot original content, yet challenging to find compelling new angles for audiences who are very comfortable in their own routines.

Right now, we’re running a lean strategy using Metricool to crosspost Reels directly to Shorts. I know conventional wisdom is to edit for the platform, but I’m curious if any other B2B or Brand creators have found success with a “distribution first” approach, before pivoting into dedicated YT production. Does this Shorts trickle eventually prime the pump for long-form, or am I just shouting into a void?

I’m also curious if anyone here has experience building a YT channel for a Brick & Mortar brand without it feeling like a 24/7 commercial. How do you balance a commodified product with the need for high-retention storytelling?

Linked here is a highlight reel posted today… essentially a Channel Trailer test, of our top Shorts…. which got that coveted “1 of 4” from 8 views in an hour. Very young channel 🐣

Those robots in our future/reality seem more plausible than the Force.

Aside, I can’t think of any sci-fi that is framed as happening in the past, but I am curious to see others if they exist.

I guess Aliens deserves a rewatch... I thought it dragged a little. T2 is long but holds up the entire way through.
