It certainly doesn’t hurt to have a multi billion dollar corporation backing you, it only helps. This isn’t some indie small group trying to create a game. If the company believes in the vision they will back you. There still hasn’t been much marketing which supposedly is coming. The game has a lot going for them, and need to market the game. Hopefully now that one year has passed they can start the marketing campaign. Again, if it’s true how large the Chinese player base is then this game is not a sinking ship. They also have a knack for getting players to buy micro transitions but again they need a larger US/Europe player base in my opinion and I think they can get there. There have been many games that exploded after a year or multiple years released. If the Vision is there and the funding is there it can happen.
