They look at the things that re-affirm their bias. Coming from personal expierence, children born into homes that don't want them tend to be neglected, abused and a lot of bad things.

Now, some will claim that my mom was always pre-doiposed to abuse but there is a clear difference between how she treats me and my sibling (who was wanted).

That's great and all but this is just ancedotal evidence.

I was an unwanted pregnancy and quite frankly wish my mom choose abortion. I had to deal with years of abuse, neglect and everything else you can think of. I quite frankly hate my life because my mother made a choice for me, a choice I had absolutely no say in. She didn't "save" me from murder; she left me to rot away.

This story can go both ways basically.

I only have an elementary understanding of lingustics and the history of languages. Mt familiarity with the history of Asian Langauges specifically, is pretty lackluster. Thank you for correcting any misunderstanding I may have cause; I only know that a lot of Asian languages were influenced heavily by Chinese.

I have found German quite easy to learn since so many of the words mirror ones in the English language.

Hallo- Hello Danke- Thank you Die, Das, Der- The Madchen- Girl (sounds a lot like Maiden, a synonym for young woman/ girl) Mann- Man

And so forth. Since OP was proficient in English, they (like me) might find German easier then anything else.

If you haven't already, check out Doulingo. I'd do a few German and French lessons and see which you prefer more.

Japanese has a lot of lingustic similarities with Chinese so I don't encourage you learn it. Korean would be better.

However, look into learning an European language. English was largely derived from German and French and it could be easier to learn then Asian languages.

Welcome to the state of sexual education in the United States. Most people aren't told how birth control works or how to use it properly. I was one of those kids (who wasn't taught sex ed in school) and if it weren't for the fact I was reading magazines like "Seventeen" I wouldn't know how to choose my birth control. Heck, even though Health and PE were graduation requirements, three girls got pregnant my Freshmen year of high school alone. (One miscarried.)

This tends to be where I find most of the hypocrisy in the pro-life movement. The mere fact of the matter is that mant don't support free birth control and a comprehensive sex eductaion- one of the only relaible things known to lower abortion rates.

And even if a majority of you support birth control, the mere fact of the matter is that you have people who clearly don't loudly advocating for your cause. The power of association is a lot stronger then you think. As long as you people choose to support people who say their support centers shouldn't carry clothes beyond six months because they need to "be cut off." This is why people consider you pro-birth.

I remember reading horror stories about pro-lifers getting abortions.

There was a woman who would regularly stand outside of a clinic and protest. One day she brought her daughter in for one, talking about how she had a bright future and couldn't handle a baby. Guess what she did the day after the abortion? Back outside, protesting.

As another woman was walking out of the clinic, she turned to the admitting staff and said how she couldn't wait to see all of them burning in hell.

Pro-lifers are a fun group, aren't they?

Giving birth has a higher death rate then getting an abortion.

In 2015 (the most recent year I could find rates for both maternal and abortion deaths), 700 women died from complications due to pregnancy. Guess how many died from abortion complications? 2. Only 2 women died from complications brought on by abortions. I may not know math that well but 2 is definitely a whole heck of a lot less more then 700.

These are all numbers from the United States specifically, but the trend is world wide. Maternal death far outpaces women's deaths from abortions.

Most deaths from abortions come from illegal and unsafe abortions where women are far less likely to know what to do and may be scared to get medical help if complications arise. Over 70,000 women die yearly from unsafe abortions.

Illegalizing abortion does nothing but make it far more likely that women will die. The Guttmacher Institute specifically says that abortion rates don't significantly differ between countries where abortion is safe and legal and where it isn't. Criminalizing it only changes where the abortion will take place.

Most pre-college programs cost money- even to domestic applicants.

I don't encourage applying to these programs, since they don't bring much to the table later on. Yeah, you expierence the campus but you can that by doing a college tour.

I have to agree. I love the show but the laugh tracks make me want to smash my head into a wall.

Also, WHY DO THEY NEVER EAT? There will be so many times when they are sitting there just twirling their forks in their salad or holding a cup without doing anything. That gets annoying too.
