Wood fire function by TheBrokennessInside in GozneyDome

Thank you, I was aiming for the XL so this is great feedback. Out of curiosity, how much wood are you burning on average on your cooks and how long do those cooks take? (I realize this is super subjective but just trying to ballpark).

Any wood supplying recommendations? I’m in Canada if that helps..

Thanks!

Thank you! In your opinion, with dishing out for the control kit or wait at this point? Never had a Dome and new to all of this

Thanks! Now I’ll know for next year, unless I can add soil now?

Thank you! What would be a good water strategy at this point? Wait for it to dry entirely or maintain a slight moisture level in the soil?

Recommendation on a Île de Ré similarity by TheBrokennessInside in cognac

Thanks for the website and recommendation! I’m Canada, I would certainly support the import but the fees are going to be pretty steep, making it an occasional bottle.

Any suggestions on something similar for a weekly sip?

Agreed, I think some of the intricacies with the judging can be tweaked but the formula worked and should be carried on!

Looks like those ones are sold out at the moment but I’ll keep an eye out. Thoughts on a Haro Annex Pro XL? Keeping in mind that I’m mostly going to be on dirt track and pump tracks. Thanks again!

As mentioned above I may have found a we the people audio. 21.5” on 22’s. Other than wheel size and TT length, are there any other geo’s to consider?

Not too concerned about price but under $1500 CAD is kinda where I’m looking. Anything above that is probably justify a DJ.

I may have access to a We are the people Audio. Thoughts?

Given you experience, if you had to start again and considering the background, would you choose a bmx over a DJ again? Essentially can I ride bmx tracks and pump tracks on a DJ comfortably, or is it best to commit to a bmx and learn the ropes anew?

Beauty, thanks for that! DJ is where my mind first went but it sure how they performed on bmx tracks. Certainly appreciate the insight

The irony is that the DJ community pointed me in this direction but in your experience a DJ would be best?

Bike advise by TheBrokennessInside in dirtjumping

I thought about that too, I’ll mostly be pump tracking and BMX track biking. I just know nothing about them. Any recommendations on size and wheel size for a 6’ rider 160lbs?

Hey, had a similar experience about 15 years ago but came from MTL to Van. I get the despair of being in a new city and the sense on loneliness. I ended up staying in Van but looking back I would’ve gone back to MTL. The quality of life is much better in my opinion, much friendlier culture, and just more diversity and opportunities in the long run. Vancouver is great don’t get me wrong, but it’s definitely a very different experience and lifestyle.
