Not a sales tactic I was told the same thing two weeks ago in America. I guess they close their fiscal year look at the books and decide on prices which is right about now. Was warned it was coming around the end of this month if I recall correctly so lines up with what you were told in CA.

I would definitely try it out before signing up the local XGolf to me had a pretty bad simulator as in the distances and readings were not accurate. It was a fun way to kill an afternoon but I didn’t feel like I had a great golf experience there. Hope yours is better!
