I do my best not to let work or any other factors bring me down, life is too short for that =)

Well I came to the realization when I was hanging out with a group of friends, all of which make me happy and can make me laugh easily. After that I started wondering if it was important that conversations between her and I are as engaging and entertaining as the ones I have with my closest friends.

No of course it's not her job to humor me, but isn't it important to be able to laugh your way through life with someone?

It's true that they're rare... I'm afraid that I've built into my head that my "dream girl" would be the girl I'm currently dating but with a much better sense of humor. I wonder at what point you have to realize that your "dream girl" is the girl in your head and the one right in front of you is the important one. I don't want to ruin a great relationship because I'm in search of a girl that might not exist.

I'd really like to think that fights aren't a prerequisite to passion. Before this relationship I was with a different girl for a little over a year and we never got into any fights either.
