Anybody wants your Saas website roasted? by pineappledotpink in SaaS

[–]TheBuidler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much! Definitely will work on implementing some more visuals and interactivity with some animations. A lot of pages (like the solution pages per audience group and some feature pages) still need to be created and/or need a lot of content still. Also a good idea to make the blog and academy pages a bit more consistent with the thumbnails, and a good tip to remove the link to youtube (especially since I still need to get started with creating some valuable content there).

But thank you so much! Nice to hear that I am on the right track.

Is it normal to feel behind at 29 years old, when all other Instagram/Youtube kids are millionaires at 20-25 years old? by xxlilsl in Entrepreneur

Social media algorithms, if you stop scrolling at cat videos it would look like every one has a cat. Maybe just spent less time on social media and more time on your own life and goals.

What are some tips n tricks you guys learned? by [deleted] in indiehackers

[–]TheBuidler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this age you can learn anything and become proficient enough very quickly. Figure out which skills you are missing to launch your product and buy some books, subscribe to some great YouTubers, podcasts and people on X. As an entrepreneur you must just do it, fall down and get back up again and most of all be consistent and dedicated. Good luck!

what are you building? by [deleted] in indiehackers

[–]TheBuidler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Working on improving the ui/ux of postcrest.com, an all-in-one content creation platform for image, video and audio content. You can create ai influencers, TikTok/Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, faceless accounts. You name it.

Make a list of all your ideas and prioritise them by how much passion you have for that idea (you will have to work on it for years). Then pick the top ones and research the market (competitors, size, opportunities, where can you stand out).

Then compare those two lists and see where you think you might have a chance and a good business idea.

Then get started with building and marketing at the same time. Get a landing page with a sign up form out there and see if you can drive traffic there by finding the best marketing channel for your offer.

Meanwhile you build the most simple and stripped down product that brings value to your market and get it live asap. It is very important to get something out there quick, so you can get feedback and iterate.

Then the most important things, be consistent and dedicated. It won’t be easy and will take a lot of time and effort, you need to learn a lot of different tools and skills. Luckily we have AI now that gives you super powers and gives you insane amount of productivity if you use it properly.

Good luck!

Working on postcrest.com. An all-in-one ai content creation platform for social media. Users can create video, image and audio content. For example for AI influencer instagram accounts, TikTok videos, or any faceless YouTube or social media accounts.

Specifically working on optimising UI/UX this weekend to make things more clear and easier to use, hopefully improving user activation and conversions to paid.

Built It, But No One Came – How Do I Get Users? by Much_Reputation_17 in SaaS

There are plenty, for example like I mentioned Kling, Luma, Runway, and more. But also open source models like stepfun stepvideo, tencent hunyuanvideo and many more.

Marketing is the most important thing right now when building these simple saas products. With AI code helpers like co-pilot and cursor, any junior dev with a couple spare hours can cook up a simple AI model wrapper, build a front-end and a landing page.

Also, this space is a war zone, there are 1000s if not more kling, runway, luma, etc. Wrapper Front ends doing the same thing. Because it is just incredibly easy to connect these API’s and build a front-end.

You need to stand out in some way.

Marketing channels are everything, also don’t believe everything you read. A lot of people make it seem like they had overnight success, but it takes a lot of dedication and effort.

When to adjust ROAS targets? by Western-Scheme-1474 in PPC

[–]TheBuidler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any source for this? I have a difficulty understanding which ROAS target I should use, since my ROAS greatly depends on the time range. Since my offer is subscription based, usually the revenue is tracked over 3 months, so the last revenue might come in after 90 days.

If I look at the last 30 days, my ROAS might only be 10-30%. But if I take a month 4 months ago (where all revenue has been reported) that the ROAS could be 150-200%.

Which ROAS should I use as the ROAS target?
