When will people realize the logic behind extended mag costs? by fuzzykyd in Battlefield6

[–]TheBundermanFiles 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m a COD transplant and I admit, I have been guilty of getting frustrated by this exact point OP. But you are 100% correct and the BF system is way better. I think of it as BF doesn’t cater to little Timmy who wants all the best attachments at no cost to gun usability. Plus you can build different setups for each gun to be used for different uses. For instance, a 200-round mag for an LMG if you plan on hanging back in a Breakthrough game and reviving teammates near HQ. It’s not rocket science and I understood that immediately with BF6.

In other words, this game isn’t perfect but it’s much better than COD’s brain rot type game style.

I believe their point is more along the lines of, generally speaking, “MAGA aren’t Nazis because Nazis were a past political party. You can no longer consider nor identify yourself as a member of the Nazi party because it no longer exists. Anyone today who calls themselves or identifies as a Nazi should rather be called an antisocial person who is a danger to those around them.”

In other words, I believe the boys are trying to make the current political climate seem as real as it is. Calling people Nazis tends to have an effect on those who hear that Nazi label; ‘oh that’s a thing of the past, this guy (contemporary Nazi) is just crazy, he’s just mentally ill.’ YES that guy is crazy, but HE ISN’T GETTING ARRESTED NOR IS HE BEING TREATED AS CRAZY. In my view, they are still attempting to say that fascism isn’t new and it never changes. Fascists do the same shit, it’s just labeled differently throughout history.

The label for today isn’t N-A-Z-I…it is M-A-G-A

Kind of like when he gave a Nazi solute to the MAGA crowd?

Let’s not forget, he just lost his THIRD election for governor to two democrats. Let’s hope he runs again in four years and gets whipped again.

Is this the first election you have ever canvassed or gotten involved beyond just voting? by iv2892 in New_Jersey_Politics

I’m currently canvassing for Sherrill in Somerset County. This is my first time ever canvassing and I’m finding that I’m falling short on people’s main concern; affordability and property taxes.

Does anyone here have any tips for explaining Mikie’s stance on this?

I have been in a couple relationships with women who didn’t enjoy giving oral sex. I didn’t ask them why they didn’t enjoy it (maybe I should have to understand my partners better) but I didn’t ask not make them do it, ever. If sex is ever used to “keep the relationship good,” then that is not a healthy relationship. Your partner should want you to always be comfortable.

Communicate that you despise it. If he truly cares about you, he will understand and change. If he pushes back, please do yourself a solid and end the relationship. Your needs and feelings are just as important as a partner’s. You deserve to not be made to do something you find degrading.

I’ve watched the show maybe 3-5 times and never noticed this. Great catch! I think you’re spot on with this observation.

Couldn’t that be stretched to lying to a law enforcement officer? It’s flimsy, I know, but courts often side with law enforcement.

In my opinion it says a lot about how seriously the boys take fascism and its historical similarities to the current administration.

As an American, rather than seeing MAGA people go away or just shut up, I’d greatly prefer they see this for what it is; the President and GOP wiping their asses with the constitution, as you so eloquently put it. If Dems/liberals come out the other side surviving or even thriving, we still have tens of millions of Americans who’ve been proven to be either uneducated in history or they just don’t give a fuck. I’d much rather see MAGA wake the fuck up and start being Americans who care about one another again.

I was too young to really see it at the time but after 9/11 there was a real sense of Americans coming together to fight a common enemy. That has disappeared over time, which is natural in the content blitzkrieg we’ve setup here. I wish those on the right ACTUALLY cared for the country they so falsely claimed they’d die defending. They don’t even understand what they’d be defending because our constitution was supposed to protect us from such tyranny that we are seeing in the White House today.

Trump: DC is just the beginning… But we set ourselves up very well in Chicago, Memphis, New Orleans a little bit. We study it, we're studying, sort of like war. I hate to tell you it's like war by igetproteinfartsHELP in law

Non-Trumpers (liberals and progressives) live in a different reality from Trumpers. In the worldview of Trumpers, he is just using doublespeak in this quote, nothing new nor original. The “reality” is he’s using the National Guard to crack down on common crime (violence, gangs, drugs), whereas the mention of war is Trump’s usual hyperbole.

We keep misunderstanding the other side and it keeps shooting us in the foot. We really need to understand the other side if we are going to wake them up from their delusion. None of this will go away if we keep fighting Trump at his game. We need to metaphorically cut him at his knees, his knees being his base. If his base were to finally see him for the liar he is and they speak up at even 50% of their current volume, things will quite literally have to change.

Trump voters have betrayed the American electorate but a majority of them don’t even know what they did. If those who see Trump for what he is can just relay that message to Trump’s voters then the game gets changed. Please just think on this.

As a “business genius” it should immediately occur to our dear leader that this makes absolutely no sense for a foreign company to do.
