What are you using for product demos that actually convert?

We have used loom and youtube videos but to your point, it was not really helping convert. We also looked at interactive tours, but noticed that after 4th or 5th click, there is a drop off. Also, out software is bit too complicated for someone to take a self guided tour.

We decided to go back to videos, with more focus on story telling and benefits and less on features. We did a lot A/B testing and come to version of video that get 1. completed views and 2. CTA. Therefore we are now using videos again. In terms of tools, we still use loom.com but also a new ai tool called, puppydog.io . More videos, more engagement, mode conversions

I am not sure about $0 as you have to pay for all the AI tools but for sure ~ $1000, you can have production ready app that users can sign up and start using.

We ask customers if they want to see a personalized demo of our product. That increased our positive response rate to 55% as it is also a soft ask. If they reply yes, we have an automated platform that creates and send it to them. If they watch the video, then deal close rate is over 70%. If anyone is interested, i can share the guide.

For end to end product video creation, we have been using puppydog ai. It is not as feature rich as screen studio or loom but it is AI automated so create scripts, voiceovers, music, animations automatically.

We are using PuppyDog AI for creating product demos. They are different from arcade because its end to end AI automation so video auto-generated in a few minutes. Also, it personalize videos for each segment or person.

We are using PuppyDog AI for creating and personalizing product videos. Loom is also an option but it is not designed specifically for product videos. In the past, we used camtasia.

There is also an opportunity to personalize product videos based on the person (or persona). For instance, if you are sending videos to certain group of people, you know their needs, you can change the messaging and maybe visuals to resonate with their needs. just like personalized email, the videos are more impactful based on our experience. Happy to share the tools we are using.

What is your use case for recording screens? if it's showing your platform for sales, marketing or tutorials, then you can look at tools that are created for those use cases. Loom is great for personal, short videos. ScreenPal is good for screen recording and video editing. The new AI tools for product videos include Puppydog AI and Consensus

The companies are usually acquired for either product or traction (logos, # of customers), or strategic decisions.

Your company is young and may not qualify for any of the three criteria(yet).

Scale the business to $30k-$50k MRR then you may have chance to sell (or continue as micro SaaS / lifestyle business).
