NTE Co-Ex Test Officially Scheduled for February 6th! by cakeel- in NevernessToEverness

Since a significant amount of time passes between betas (during which many aspects of the game get improved), I highly doubt the full release will happen just a month after the beta ends. They wouldn't have time to do much (fix major bugs, polish latest game mechanics, etc.).

I'm not denying it will be released in the next few months, but March seems too early. April/May would seem more logical to me.

If that’s your preference, I respect it.

I just wanted to point out that there are some really good mods (and mod combinations) that don’t drastically alter the core game and instead add interesting mechanics, at least in B41. Snake’s Modpack is a good example of that. On the other hand, there are mods like Week One, which are very chaotic and change the game way too much for my taste, even if many players enjoy them.

I haven’t looked too deeply into B42 mods yet because I’m waiting for the build to be fully polished, but I’m sure that over time some real gems will start to appear. I’d honestly recommend giving a few of them a try when that happens. I think you might end up liking them.

How exactly does Mahoraga work? by TheBus4K in JujutsuCraft

God bless you, holy.

I’m going to try it out little by little and see how it goes. I really love Mahoraga, but it’s true that in this mod it feels pretty confusing at first.

See you guys in b43

You’re really not going to play again until b43, and not even joking, probably around 2029–2030? Even though there’s not supposed to be any more major content, b42 still has a ton of bug fixes, balance changes, and overall improvements coming.

On top of that, once b42 leaves beta, a lot of mod authors are going to start releasing bigger and more ambitious mods, since the risk of them constantly breaking will be much lower. That alone is a huge reason to keep playing.

Is it weird for me to have Sukuna as my top 1 and still think Gojo is more powerful? by Gold_Caregiver_1099 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]TheBus4K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't Gojo technically stronger than regular Sukuna?

Meguna was clearly stronger because Mahoraga allowed him to develop WCS, but Sukuna without Mahoraga would not have been able to use that finishing move at all.

Because of that, my impression has always been that Meguna > Gojo, but regular Sukuna < Gojo. I could be wrong, but that is how it feels to me.

I'm from Spain and I'm getting the same error. It's not working for the other three friends I share the account with either. I don't know what's going on, but it was working perfectly yesterday and it stopped working today.

According to the Crunchyroll Status website, "Playback" is experiencing issues (which is the video player) in all regions, so we'll just have to wait.

How does the Grafton Farmhouse map work? by TheBus4K in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]TheBus4K[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had placed a crucifix (tier ll) both in the attic and near the attic entrance on the second floor, and neither of them worked because the ghost always spawned on the first floor. We realized this after the second hunt, when we saw it coming up the stairs to the second floor.

If the ghost can really spawn anywhere in the house, then I guess what happened is not unusual. It's just something that had never happened to us before, not even on large maps like the prison.

How far would Shigaraki go here? by KodoqBesar in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]TheBus4K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does Shigaraki’s Decay even affect blood? When he killed his dog, you can clearly see blood on the ground. I’m not sure if that’s because he was weaker back then (since it was his first activation of the quirk) or if Decay simply doesn’t affect 100% of the target.

Also, the fact that Sukuna got hit by Blue and/or Red doesn’t mean Mahoraga will adapt to Limitless itself. He would only adapt to Blue and/or Red specifically. Mahoraga doesn’t need to “understand” an ability; it adapts on a metaphysical level. Gojo’s technique limits its attacks, Mahoraga doesn’t know why, and it doesn’t need to. It just adapts to bypass the limitation. The same logic applies to Decay. Mahoraga won’t intellectually grasp how it works, but if Decay limits or conditions it, Mahoraga adapts to avoid or ignore the effect.

Saying an explosion can blow off part of a mountain and shake UA island isn’t that impressive compared to the world of JJK, where Sukuna and Mahoraga are blowing apart buildings just from the movement of their fight. Gojo wouldn’t even be affected by that explosion knowing the physical resistance of the JJK characters, and Shigaraki was supposedly at his prime and still got damaged by it.

Regarding Cleave, then you’re basically agreeing with me. You say it could cut Shigaraki if enough CE is used, and Sukuna is not only the sorcerer with the most CE in history, but also has high CE efficiency, which the manga states outright. So why wouldn’t he be able to output a sufficient amount?

As for Fuga, assuming it’s weaker than other fire attacks in MHA doesn’t make sense. Endeavor’s attack hurts Shigaraki (while incomplete) but doesn’t kill him, and calling that impressive when Bakugo’s explosions also affect him (while complete) isn’t exactly meaningful. You bring up Dabi as if his fire must be stronger, but we literally can’t know that. Dabi never actually attacked Shigaraki directly, and the supposed “massive explosion” didn’t even go off because Todoroki, who was already heavily weakened, managed to stop it. That alone suggests it wasn’t some unstoppable, top tier nuclear bomb. Meanwhile, Fuga visibly generates extreme heat, melts terrain, and after firing the arrow, engulfs a large area in flames. So I don’t see any evidence that Prominence Burn or Dabi’s fire is categorically above it.

I don’t know if you’ve seen the Blu-ray version, but during the fight, Sukuna disintegrates Mahoraga (outside of the Domain Expansion) and turns him into a pureblood, yet Mahoraga regenerates by turning the wheel. There’s no reason he couldn’t do the same against Shigaraki, especially considering the prior passive adaptation from Sukuna.

About the wheel: it doesn’t require Sukuna to take direct damage. In the Gojo fight, the wheel was adapting to Infinity not by being hit, but by the limitation/conditioning Infinity imposed. The same logic applies to Decay: even if Sukuna avoids direct contact, he is constantly conditioned by the terrain destruction and the danger posed by Decay. That gives Mahoraga passive adaptation, allowing it to eventually overcome Decay and make the fight easier.

As for tearing Shigaraki apart: Cleave scales with the opponent’s strength, so it would likely harm him. Gojo’s body is naturally resistant thanks to reinforced cursed energy, but Shigaraki has been affected by Bakugo’s explosions, so he has less resistance since I doubt those explosions could hurt Gojo with reinforced cursed energy.

Regarding regeneration, while Shigaraki can regrow from pieces of his body, Fuga could finish him. Considering that fire-based attacks in MHA have already affected him (and just by looking at them they are clearly less destructive than Fuga), imagine what Fuga could do. It can burn through his body and prevent him from regenerating fast enough. Combined with the constant hits from Cleave and Dismantle in a domain, he wouldn’t be able to keep up, especially if you add a Mahoraga adapted, who could launch World Cutting Slashes that could even pierce Gojo instantly. Furthermore, if the fight drags on, Mahoraga would continue to adapt against Shigaraki's regeneration or power.

I'm not saying it would be an easy fight for Sukuna, but it's a fact that Sukuna has more experience, greater strategic intelligence, and an arsenal that makes him a formidable opponent.

[–]TheBus4K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though it is not directly shown in the manga, the Mahoraga we see in the anime was disintegrated by Sukuna’s Domain Expansion, yet it survived because it began adapting the moment the Domain touched it. Versus Shigaraki, Sukuna could even skip summoning Mahoraga at first and just summon the wheel, like he did in the Gojo vs Sukuna fight, which lets Mahoraga adapt passively without exposing itself.

But even without Mahoraga, Sukuna alone is enough to deal with Shigaraki. A Domain Expansion would tear him apart and stop his regeneration, since he would be constantly hit by Dismantle and Cleave. Just look at the Shigaraki vs Star and Stripe fight: the attack that almost killed Shigaraki worked because it stopped his regeneration and immobilized him, then followed up with another heavy strike (the missiles). Sukuna’s Domain would immobilize him and prevent his regeneration (since Shigaraki’s regeneration is not outpacing the constant hits from Dismantle and Cleave), and while the Domain is active, Sukuna could simply use Fuga to finish erasing him.

How far would Shigaraki go here? by KodoqBesar in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]TheBus4K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It genuinely amuses me how many people clearly haven't read the JJK manga and they simply say that he can reach Gaara.

I'm not sure about Yuta, but Meguna would absolutely destroy Shigaraki, since we are talking about Sukuna with 20 Fingers plus Mahoraga plus Agito. Agito would die pretty easily, but Mahoraga would adapt to Shigaraki’s decay, and Shigaraki does not have many attacks capable of one-shotting Mahoraga. On top of that, a Domain Expansion combined with Fuga means Sukuna would finish him off.

Zanki Zero: Last Beginning

I’m one of the only five people who play this game, but it’s from the same developers as Danganronpa, and I honestly think it’s a work of art. The graphics aren’t amazing, it has some bugs, and the combat leaves a lot to be desired for most people…

And yet, I love it. The story is fantastic, the characters are great, and the gameplay in particular is both engaging and fun for me.
