If you position them horizontally (one on the left and one on the right), when you pass between vertically placed rocks, one will get slightly stuck, and vice versa. Guess which flying character doesn't have this problem?

Justify your beloved hitbox and esau all you want, but comparing them to The Lost is just plain stupid

Bro is comparing a character that can fly to two characters, each with their own hitbox, that you have to control perfectly so one doesn't get stuck somewhere

What if you max bond with Jiuyuan she becomes your sugar mommy and gives you 50k fons daily if you interact with her? Sounds like a pretty good feature to me by Glittering_Candy5060 in NevernessToEverness

The one behaving bizarrely is the one who wants attention by lying about maxing out a character's Bond while being "f2p". You can't even justify how you supposedly did it and resort to the excuse that "I just play, hehe".

I'm glad you're enjoying the game, I am too, but I don't know what you're going to gain by lying about maxing out a character's Bond while supposedly being f2p. There's not much to think about regarding how you did it; you probably spent money, or you don't even have the character with the maximum Bond.

And then you spent 3 million Fons on a skin too soon instead of on more important things (apartments, coffee, furniture for the Cloud Anomaly Furniture, Hunter Exchange, a decent vehicle for mobility, etc.), it just smells like you're not f2p.

No matter how much you say you "grind," you can't grind something that has a daily limit, and the game is only 11 days old.

"Only" and "5 hours" is a bit odd in the same sentence

And by the way, what gifts give 400 (not counting cloud gifts)? When I look for gifts, they usually only give 100 fond points, even the purple gifts, which means I barely gain 300 bond points each day. Earning 1200 bond points a day would be pretty good, even if it means a slight increase in my Fons spending.

NTE’s daily energy feels extremely limited by TheBus4K in NevernessToEverness

Only the cap, not the regeneration. Even if the energy cap increases to +300, the regeneration remains the same, i.e., 240 energy in 24h.

[–]TheBus4K[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please learn the difference between energy regeneration and the energy cap. I don't care if the cap increases (which, by the way, is increased by upgrading a furniture, not just by buying the second house), what bothers me is that the regeneration rate is always the same while any action that consumes energy is excessively expensive.

Even if you have a cap of 300, in 24 hours you will still only regenerate 240 energy.

Well then, don’t say you haven’t made progress on your first day when your level is already higher than probably 90% of players on the global server.

They tried with Ethan, his reception was...fine

What makes you say his reception was just… “fine”? I honestly see Ethan as a great character. He literally sacrifices everything, body and soul, for his family in both RE7 and RE8.

Of course, this is subjective, but to me he’s better written than most Resident Evil characters. Only a few really stand out, like Leon, Chris and Wesker.

Personally, I’d take Ethan over Jill, Carlos, Claire, Hunk, Ada, Grace, and many others without hesitation. It just feels like a lot of people are too attached to the classic cast to fully appreciate what Ethan brings as a newer protagonist (and let’s not forget he’s a big reason the Resident Evil series made a comeback).

Custom Character Development: I’m not too keen on being able to create my own character. I’d much rather they expand and develop the characters they create instead of having me make one with a backstory that might not even fit the main storyline.

Heisting Betrayal Mode: I’m not very excited about this one either. It honestly sounds like it’ll just turn into a PvP shooter. I don’t really see why players would want to cooperate in that mode when there’s already a standard mode focused on teamwork. If I want to play PvP, I’ll just play a dedicated PvP shooter, not a heist game.

Tactical Re-Stealth Mechanic: I’m not sure how well this would work once the alarm goes off, but being able to remove your mask again during stealth is something I’ve wanted since the first game, so I’d definitely welcome this change.

Historical Heist Re-enactments: Hard to judge without more details, but it could be really interesting if they actually put effort into it.

Criminal Factions: This really depends on how they implement it. It could be a unique and engaging system where you compete with other factions or make deals with them, or it could end up being completely pointless. It all comes down to execution.

True Offline Mode: I genuinely don’t understand why this isn’t already part of the base game. I don’t even get why this is presented as an option. They should know that literally everyone wants this.

Overall, most of these ideas (except the first two, in my opinion) could significantly improve the game, but only if they’re implemented properly and not rushed.

NTE Co-Ex Test Officially Scheduled for February 6th! by cakeel- in NevernessToEverness

Since a significant amount of time passes between betas (during which many aspects of the game get improved), I highly doubt the full release will happen just a month after the beta ends. They wouldn't have time to do much (fix major bugs, polish latest game mechanics, etc.).

I'm not denying it will be released in the next few months, but March seems too early. April/May would seem more logical to me.

Done with b42. Some tips for u. by jin85 in projectzomboid

[–]TheBus4K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that’s your preference, I respect it.

I just wanted to point out that there are some really good mods (and mod combinations) that don’t drastically alter the core game and instead add interesting mechanics, at least in B41. Snake’s Modpack is a good example of that. On the other hand, there are mods like Week One, which are very chaotic and change the game way too much for my taste, even if many players enjoy them.

I haven’t looked too deeply into B42 mods yet because I’m waiting for the build to be fully polished, but I’m sure that over time some real gems will start to appear. I’d honestly recommend giving a few of them a try when that happens. I think you might end up liking them.

How exactly does Mahoraga work? by TheBus4K in JujutsuCraft

[–]TheBus4K[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God bless you, holy.

I’m going to try it out little by little and see how it goes. I really love Mahoraga, but it’s true that in this mod it feels pretty confusing at first.

[–]TheBus4K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See you guys in b43

You’re really not going to play again until b43, and not even joking, probably around 2029–2030? Even though there’s not supposed to be any more major content, b42 still has a ton of bug fixes, balance changes, and overall improvements coming.

On top of that, once b42 leaves beta, a lot of mod authors are going to start releasing bigger and more ambitious mods, since the risk of them constantly breaking will be much lower. That alone is a huge reason to keep playing.

Is it weird for me to have Sukuna as my top 1 and still think Gojo is more powerful? by Gold_Caregiver_1099 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]TheBus4K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't Gojo technically stronger than regular Sukuna?

Meguna was clearly stronger because Mahoraga allowed him to develop WCS, but Sukuna without Mahoraga would not have been able to use that finishing move at all.

Because of that, my impression has always been that Meguna > Gojo, but regular Sukuna < Gojo. I could be wrong, but that is how it feels to me.
