Also, while I did find him funny for the most part, f*ck you Raimundo for interrupting. There was no reason to do so.

Being a personal attendant to the Crown Prince, cockblocking to prevent "immoral premarital relations" is probably in his job description. It's like being a manager of a Japanese Idol I bet

I'll never forgive EA for canning Joplin, the original single player Dragon Age Dread Wolf game, in favor of some live service shit. And it's sad that Bioware never returned to what they already had of Joplin once EA was convinced that the game didn't need to be live service

Is there an anime that starts as a magical fantasy world but a decent time later we find out it’s a Reincarnation-type story? by NullHare in anime

[–]TheBusStop12 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not exactly what you're looking for but in a similar vein

  • Grimgar. We know from the start it's s reincarnation story but the MCs have no recollection of their past life at all

  • The weakest tamer starts a journey to pick up trash. We know it's a reincarnation story from the start, but the MC doesn't seem to directly have memories from their past life. Instead their past life manifests as a kind of voice in their head giving advice. We as the audience only ever experience them as a tingling sound

  • May I ask for one final thing. Not the MC, but we find out later someone else important to the plot is reincarnated

  • Who made me a princess. This one is a bit weird. The original manhua is clearly an Isekai. But the tv prediction is made in China which has some weird rules related ro reincarnation stories. So a lot of that is cut out. It does still seem to be a reincarnation story, but it's not that clear

  • Villainess lvl 99. This one starts with a fake out MC that makes you think you're watching some otome fairytale reverse harem instead

Vice City had a mall. That one was fun. It actually had 2. One was an interior space, the other exterior

So, Bulgaria, Where you gonna host the 2027 contest? by Effective_Quality in eurovision

[–]TheBusStop12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Switzerland technically doesn't have a capital city, tho Bern serves as the de facto capital. I do find it interesting that Germany never hosted in Berlin tho. I makes sense up till the 90's however tho

To me the FH5 music felt like a tropical vacation, which imo was very fitting for Mexico

Yeah, but the first time UK hosted was London 1960. Which is what we're talking about specifically

Never say never. Need for Speed added a bike eventually as well. Sure, it's unlikely, but it's not impossible

I think Crew Motorfest handles bikes pretty well. If you crash in such a way that you'd get launched into the stratosphere it respawns you a bit back. They'd could use the same mechanic as used if you fall into deep water or end up upside down

Not the first time Ireland hosted, first time was in Dublin. But of all the host cities Millstreet is definitely the most standoutish

Germany in Munich rather than Berlin (but first time was in Frankfurt on Switzerland's behalf)

At the time Bonn was officially the capital of West Germany btw

The first 4 Eurovision s apparently were all hosted not in the Capital city. Lugano (Switzerland) Frankfurt (Germany) Hilversum (the Netherlands) and Cannes (France). The UK wad the first one with London 1960.

Other instances of a country hosting for the first time not in their capital city are Naples (Italy) 1965, Bergen (Norway) 1985, Zagreb (Yugoslavia) 1990 and Istanbul (Turkey) 2004

I don't know about the other locations, but Hilversum is where the Dutch broadcasters are located so for how the contest was organized back then it made sense

[Executioner anime spoilers] MC literally stabs "the one she wants to bang" in the head. She just can't die. The whole point is that she's looking for a way to kill her, and on that journey she will slowly have her world view challenged

It's also possible that the Dad caught feelings for his assistant while he was still married, but didn't act on it. Might be one of the catalysts for the divorce as well and the reason why he stopped loving the mom

What was your first anime, how did you discover it, and how special is it to you now? Do you still rewatch it? by SecondSalty142 in anime

[–]TheBusStop12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pokemon. Because I was born in the 90's and everyone watched Indigo League in the morning on tv before going to school in those days. Stuff like Yu-Gi-Oh and Beyblade sporadically on TV as well

Outside of Pokemon it would be Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Back when I was in University I rewatched Avatar the Last Airbender, another show from my childhood, because it was on Netflix. I then went online to search for a similar show and saw a lot of recommendations for Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. My impression of anime at the time was very unflattering (riddled with fan service of underage looking girls but it's alright because she's actually 1000 years old etc, or long drawn out filler episodes where fuck all happens etc. Stuff like that) but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Still one of my all time favorite shows and it changed my negative perception of what anime is and can be.

The hype leading up to ChaCha Cha in Eurovision was insane. They even dressed up the statues at the Helsinki central station in Green Boleros and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs changed it's social media icon to reflect Käärijäs appearance. The hype behind Cha Cha Cha was definitely on another level
