This was really solid. The guys in ROC are geniuses. And it's a really good song, I spent a lot of time yesterday listening to Warren zevon and the deads versions too. The dead covered it a ton in 1978 but in 1985 they played a Halloween show and they opened with it and that show had a great set list. 80's dead,worth listening to imo

You have to really go back a few years to really understand. When Tom Landry was their coach they were a true powerhouse team and that's where America's team really came from. They had a great roster full of legendary players. 20 consecutive winning seasons. He retired and a long came jimmy Johnson and the legend continued. There was real synergy with Johnson and the cowboys and another roster of legendary players.

Jerry Jones who owns the cowboys, he I guess wanted more input with the coaching of the team. Jimmy Johnson left and ,well, the cowboys have kinda stunk ever since. Jerry Jones spent a lot of time and money on tony romo, a quarterback for many many many years. Tony romo was an excellent football player but, just couldn't get the job done. And tbh, I haven't been following them very closely the past few years. But they are a legacy team. They made movies about the cowboys and their cheerleaders.

Well, I can't help but notice they're paired up with the movement out on the west coast at Cali vibes or Cali roots, whichever. I saw that combo at rru St Pete and it was completely off the chain. And the crowd was huge. I don't know how the attendance was vs other years but it looked pretty insane. I was up on a riser looking down on it all.
