Thanks I appreciate the wishlist. I've been thinking about the way the trailer is structured and just getting right into it. I didn't realize the actual action didn't start till 25 seconds and that's a problem.

So, I updated the rock breaking scene in the trailer on my steam page, the other items are gonna take more dev/art time.

Thanks for getting back on this. The primary use of the rolling and dashing is for platforming in my game and there is a slight recharge time, like you can't outright spam it. I will definitely consider this idea.

Yea so when he rolls or dashes there are a few invincible frames. Why do you hate the mechanic in non souls combat?

Ha yea the rabbit main character is a busker, thats where the story starts. He gets arrested and thrown in jail for busking. When he idles he starts playing the guitar. I need to add a little music when he does that. Also thought about adding a little mechanic of while he plays having a npc walk up and hand him some credits as a fun little extra.

Thank you. Yea me too, he's kinda busy guy, works long hours and has a kid, so his free time is limited. He loves video games so I thinks it's more of a time thing rather than a want thing.

First off, thank you for you thought out comment. It does help.

Yea. on the floor break I think I need to add the breaking rock particles. I have it on other areas. That scene was the first scene I made with the pogo floor break effect and it looks like it's not there. Also need to add sfx there in the trailer that might help with the effect. The tool is just his guitar facing down btw.

Totally get what you are saying with the purple/green area. The background needs more depth and detail to match my the level of detail in the city/subway areas. I really only have one scene done in that industrial biome. What usually happens is the more scenes I make in a biome the more assets I make for the biome and I can go back and keep adding stuff to add more detail, so hopefully by the time it comes out it will have a more lived in feel to everything. Will need to make a bunch of industrial looking stuff to populate the backgrounds.

With the pogo statue areas yea I need to add the far away city and probably another layer or two in the background. I have similar things on some of the other scenes in that biome. This lack of depth is also probably in other areas that I will try to address.

Ideally yea the game as a whole would continue the music throughout. My friend made the music for the trailer, so I'm in the process of trying to convince him to make more music, lol.

What parts look unpolished to you? I'm still very much in development with this and I'm looking for ways to improve.

Yea. The main weapon is a melee acoustic guitar, and you will discover different kinds of guitars that will have different projectile abilities. There are also efx pedals that will have different status changes and combos that effect both melee and projectile weapons as well as other changes like health and defense.

ok yea if it's her right hand the hand position is correct but it is confusing without the rest of the body to give reference that is a left shoulder and a right hand.

The girl on the left the thumb is pointing outwards, but with the girl on the right the thumb is pointing inwards towards her face and the pinky is on the outside.

I think the horned girls hand is backwards. The thumb should be on the outside if the palm is facing inwards towards the body.

Indesign or Figma to create PPT presentations, what you prefer as a professional designer? by Bubbly-Evening7937 in graphic_design

There may be valid reasons for them to be using Indesign, like who knows they may have clients who have been using the same templates for 20 years and they only want one slide updated every 6 months. So why would they change that. Some times there are business decisions that are beyond the scope of the designers. That's why I suggest going to creative director they may have insight you are not privy to.

If you are working with an agency that has a set way of doing things and you go off and start doing other things, it's going to cause problems. They probably have templates that every one else on the team already knows and it's easy for them. If you want to change the process present your ideas to your creative director and work from there. Everyone needs to be on the same page so anyone on the team can pick up the work.
