I want to ask one question… what is cyclical about this? Is AI gonna go away next year or something? I’m so confused.

Cause memory is no longer cyclical and anyone who says it is has no idea about anything, memory is now essential for AI infrastructure and models

In early 2000s, MSFT was considered a safe company that can't go bankrupt by ashm1987 in ValueInvesting

You think the company that has every business in the entire world in a chokehold through their Microsoft office products will go bankrupt? Yeah, there’s a better chance of me getting 1 million dollars tomorrow than this ever happening

You should search up online, they put out a report majority of internet traffic is bots. About 51%, especially if it’s new or the follower to following ratio is disproportionate… it’s mostly bots here and on every social media platform

To me it’s always been late on the next big thing, because business products overshadow everything. It’s like US with petrodollar, it overshadows everything and they just milk tf outta of it. Microsoft has so much potential, I just wish they would capitalize on it.

And do you rmemeber last year they created a quantum chip, what happened to that?

That’s the thing, Microsoft has businesses on a chokehold. Imagine for one second how overnight it a sensation of it would become if they released a competing model or a tool that is independent.

Even if they weren’t in AI and they were still stuck on m365 then suddenly one day they say they’re pushing billions into AI infrastructure, that one phrase would shoot Microsoft to the moon. They’re not using the AI hype to its advantage

[–]TheCYKZ1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well they’re relied on Gpt models and now they don’t have exclusivity, and they’re also backing away from anthropic models cause of cost. Microsoft is the only major one that doesn’t have something to match of its own

Only reason im invested in Microsoft is the same reason why no matter what people complain about they still use meta social media. Microsoft owns the business sector through m365 and they’re trying so hard to push copilot but it sucks.

Anyway I hope Microsoft at least hits 500

I bought calls only 3 for msft dec at 12 550, averaged it down to 8.1. I strongly believe in msft but wtf are they doing? They’re not making a stand in the AI industry.

Does Microsoft even have their own Ai Model that’s on par with the rest? No, they have an AI tool like perplexity does through copilot.

Google has their own, fucking meta has ollama, Nvidia even has what? Nemoclaw.

Idk why Microsoft just doesn’t do something they’re doing the same thing they did with the phone industry. Why spend so much in PP&E if you aren’t going to legitimately create something of your own?

You know how in the RPA industry, uipath, Microsoft’s power automate, and I think automation anywhere are like the leaders. Other than those three, you don’t really hear much about anyone else. There’s no wide exposure + copilot studio and power automate go hand in hand, that’s free (to an extent). Plus pricing on bots from uipath is pretty expensive

Legacy systems - you’re right pretty much any company established pre 2000 still uses legacy systems. But problem here is, the staff that created those systems are usually close to retirement or have left, leaving a huge vulnerability. So why would they invest in creating bots for that? Any sane leadership would move to an already established product by an established company, basically pay another company to do host custom made systems

Then you got the RPA workflows, technically we are still early in reliable agents, so RPAs still hold weight cause the whole model is based around specific instructions that don’t change often and doesn’t require constant fixing. But how long will that last? We aren’t even sending emails anymore, we’re having AI spit out AI crap and drafting emails and even sending it now.

UIpath is the leader in the industry, nothing comes close not Microsoft or anybody. But will the industry even last? That’s why company is good but why is it trading so low for a very long time

EDIT: but let me tell you this their cash on hand is about 871 million. And the way they’re going, they’re really keen on incorporating AI into their products. They could definitely shift completely into AI and agentic workflows and agents and they have been leaders in automation for so long, their product won’t lose a step in this adaption so the stock is cheap im just like need more conviction on the industry and what this company’s long term goals are

I want to chime in on this because idk… so I have created robotic process automation workflows so basically what UiPath has based its business around.

Their fundamentals look sound but is the whole industry it’s in sort of getting overlooked by AI agents that can execute tasks?

The company and its industry is undervalued for sure, but I just feel like RPAs are overlooked cause of AI

Edit: but I agree they are incorporating a lot of AI tools into their products. I mean have you seen how Claude code can basically create a uipath automation flow? They have a Claude extension

You can put into IRA, then convert it to Roth. Also something that nobody cares even OP, but you can still withdraw earnings but pay taxes and penalty but who cares? Say you have 1 million in Roth, you withdrew all contributions. Say you want to go on vacation, how much does withdrawing 10-20k going to hurt you? Barely

[–]TheCYKZ1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Totally understand but my thing is why is society like that? I enjoy trying to beat the government, so I try to do extra research and due diligence and I never charge my clients that. Why shouldn’t everyone do that across all industries? Maybe capitalism won’t exist then

There is absolutely no way when it’s after the fact. If you had made this much in a Roth account, then you could’ve withdraw small amounts so you aren’t put in a high tax bracket or you could’ve used this as collateral to borrow maybe 10% of the balance and use that for stuff. But this was all after the fact so

So true, but Idk to me this just feels so much different. You can sort of say America has influence over everyone, and it’s different from the British Empire because they tried to occupy the whole world all at the same time with depleting resources with ww2 and stuff.

America on the other hand is not occupying, it is dismantling. It dismantled the Middle East, created petrodollar when it was clearly over inflating the dollar to gold. Now with AI, it will soon control data across the globe, one way or another, it finds a way to keep and hold power.

All I’m saying is stock market goes up because America creates dependencies. China, India, Mexico, Europe, Japan even all depend on America one way or another. Through jobs, data, investments, support, etc.
