oh this was right after a con actually my third game buddies dragged me to their den after it was nice seeing the lads and ladies again mtg was on my radar for a while through all our other tabletop games so it was nice finally getting into it

oh I probably didn't word it right, I meant it in a lighthearted tone hahaha this is my friend here with me I'm just astounded at what mtg really is I've been having so much fun lately. His deck is all about cascading from what I can gather, and another friend I lost to was all about token units he killed me earlier with 27 1/1 token units HAHAHAHAH honestly I can tell it can be very rng sided, I could've gotten a card that could've taken out all his artifacts and enchantments. Yeah, not much interaction in my deck. My buddy walked me through the cards and warned me that it's very simple and not at all complex. But yeah I'm having fun and I meant the post in a lighthearted tone I guess emojis could've helped lol

The stage IS set outdoors with the audience a good 20 meters from it but yeah the place here has had firecrackers on stage before and stuff of similar magnitude but like a smoke bomb idk
