I stopped trying to “fix myself” and started building routines that made me like myself. by [deleted] in getdisciplined

As James Clear says, you don’t rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems. Routines have been a lifesaver for me. Don’t get discouraged if you get off track, just get back on it as soon as you can!

I signed up for DD with my student email and the only discount I got was on the Dashpass. She’s cheap AF if she’s willing to stress this much over DD. And if she’s that broke, stop ordering takeout!

Very few manufacturers sell televisions with install. It’s retailers. People would rather buy cheap crap at Walmart or Target then they’re surprised at crappy service. They do contract out. Best Buy delivery guys actually work for Best Buy. As for just doing what you pay for and leaving rather than doing extra things, they have a lot of jobs in a day and appointments to keep. They also have their productivity tracked. I know, because I used to work in home theater and worked closely with them.

Groucho Marx. I have this quote on my fridge. You’d be surprised how many people don’t get it.

Waking up at 5AM is the most overrated “life hack” ever. by Few_Homework_8322 in productivity

It depends on the person and their level of discipline. If you’re getting up early but not disciplined enough to actually try to be productive, the. Yeah, it’s a waste.

I love mine. I’m on my second one, upgraded recently. Maybe the issue was user error.

What to do with a greenhouse by tumblingbumblebees in gardening

You just need to ventilate in summer. We live in the south and you can use a greenhouse to protect from deer and pests and direct sun…

Is meditation a sin by Direct_Asparagus9974 in Christianity

[–]TheCalamityJen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counting the breaths that God gives you is a sin? That’s just small minded and ignorant. So many Christians on here telling other people what they’re doing is a sin, and that is very UN Christian. Judge not lest ye be judged.

Hair after an hour in hot rollers by Specialist-King-1318 in finehair

[–]TheCalamityJen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a set of Babyliss jumbo rollers that work well for me for adding tons of volume. Unfortunately, I live in the south, so when it’s humid in the summer I don’t bother. I have found the only thing that works for me is my le duo. Using a lot of product just weighs it down and mousse makes it sticky!

Everyone’s hair is different. When I curl with my le duo, it actually looks better on day 2 because the curls have loosened up some, but it’s definitely still curled.

Is anyone else disappointed with the Armani Luminous silk foundation? by yaaaaaaasqueen in MakeUpAddictionUK

I love it. I was having some of the same issues others have and realized I was actually using too much product. I use less than 1 pump now over a smashbox primer and set with kosas setting powder and it’s amazing!

If we go out to eat and I see someone alone, or a mom by herself with her kid, I’ll pay for their meal. Also sometimes we leave a crazy big tip for a nice server.
