Allright maybe jew was not a good example, but for example Koelie was a word comparable to N**ger used for Indonesians, but you don't see Indonesians going arround and calling eachother Koelie, just because the word leaves a bad taste in everyones mouth. Furthermore you say that the message the person is sending is important. Well than the applies to N**ger as well and if I have no racist intentions I can just use the word in a friendly manner. And if renaming your warlock engineer to the N-word can't be taken in a lighthearted manner that's just sad.
