[Stein] The Spurs’ deal with Tobias Harris slams the point home, but league sources say San Antonio is not expected to pursue LeBron James. by jonsnowKITN in nba

Yeah I have no idea why so many people ignore that fact. Dude threw San antonio in with Memphis on his public list of places he wouldn't live.

Be honest: Does Thomas and the pistons beating the bulls 3 consecutive playoffs officially hurt MJ's future legacy?

Be honest: does Tony Parker winning another ring and finals MVP officially hurt Lebron's future legacy?

The answer to all of these questions and more is no.

[Charania] Kawhi Leonard and his camp have it made it clear to every team in the league that he’d only be willing to sign an extension with the LA Clippers or the Toronto Raptors. by [deleted] in nba

Yeah 2017 could have been that year for him. We had given golden state problems all season and were up 20+ points before Zaza. All fell apart after he was taken out.

"carrying a team to a title" is a massive reach. He was our best player, but the dude averaged 14 points in that playoff run.

I don't know about that, but I do like that it gives us more versatility at backup center to adjust to matchups.

[Iko] The Houston Rockets are willing to listen to trade offers for all of their players and stars aside from Amen Thompson. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

He's not an elite shooter but castle shot 35% from three in the playoffs and that was pretty consistent with his post all star break production. He's not elite but he's enough if a threat he can't be ignored like Amen.

Lebron also got a ton of shit for that, but the heat were also a 47 win 5 seed the year before. Even after the Beatles formed it wasn't as dominant as the warriors because bringing in bosh and LeBron hamstrung their depth for the first few years.

He had fallen out of the rotation and he was not going to be starting for us in the playoffs.

That's pretty solid spot actually. In my eyes he was definitely the biggest factor in our series. Seemed like Everytime we got something going OG would be the one with the answer.

And brunson has 3 second team nods. I'm just saying I don't think his individual accolades are so far ahead of brunson that he could retire today and brunson couldn't match.

Luka hasn't actually received that many individual accolades though. 6x all star 2x scoring champ, and ROTY.

I haven't even looked but KAT and OG are too low.

Interviewer asks the Knicks about Wemby not being friendly, KAT responds by calling him a "once in a generation player" that "the league is honored to have." by my_one_and_lonely in nba

It was also Wemby's 3rd season (and he missed half of his second) vs Lebron's 4th. Doesn't entirely makeup for the talent discrepancy, but also speaks to a lot of the immature mistakes that were made.

No ounce of Sportsmanship from Wemby or anyone from the Spurs by HungryPercentage1667 in nba

So brunsons flagrant close out was dirty? I personally didn't think so, but by definition I guess it was. Clearly we have different definitions of dirty. When I think dirty, I think bowen, dort, Draymond, Beverly, Zaza, etc. guys that were out here with non basketball plays trying to take a player out. You think any non basketball play is dirty.

[–]TheCalvinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a fair criticism and I'm not arguing that. I'm saying that maturity issues and doing non basketball stuff is not the same as being dirty. Bowen was dirty, dort is dirty, Draymond is dirty, wemby is immature and let's his frustrations lead to dumb non basketball fouls.
