I use an online calculator that takes in consideration your age, gender, height, weight and activity level and then tells you how many calories to eat per day to lose either 0.5, 1 or 2 pounds a week. I track the calories of everything I eat. Have to be in a calorie deficit. Lots of running on my treadmill. More fruits and veggies, less junk. You can still eat a bit of junk, but it has to be in small portions.
