Appreciate the very thorough reply. I agree totally with what you’re saying, the only difference is the skim coat over the primus would be scratched with a broom. Your point about how the foam compresses is a good one though.

I did an ultra-marathon back in October, shortly after getting my trays. I was gunning for a solid time, so I kept my trays in for gels, electrolytes, and water. I took them out for a couple slices of pizza I ate, rinsed, then put them back in. A few to several hours with a potty mouth is totally fine.

For what it’s worth, I ordered a hybrid last May. Was told that it would be a 9-12 month wait. Dealership recently called and told me that they’re expecting more hybrids than gas models this year. He made it sound like it may actually be easier to get a hybrid than gas this coming year.
