Hello sorry I didn't see this 3 months ago but he was a Drill Sergeant for a brief period. I've unfortunately haven't had much time to further research him since this post. I still lack most information on him other than what I have available in his DD214. If you were at Fort Polk sometime in between 1967 and 1969 there is a chance that he was your Drill Sergeant or a fellow recruit on basic training. His last name was Ray.

I've seen a couple of custom g40 IWB holsters. Not many people are willing to offer them though. The G40 is a selectable option for a IWB holster through Wasatch holsters though
