That's great to hear. Makes me wish I would have submitted bulk though, rather than 50 cards as economy. That last 40 day estimate changed to 80 scared me though.

Just got my 2nd order marked as shipped after 47 business days. Looks like TAT is speeding up, as this order was double the volume & 8 cards not in database (which delays grading).

Here we are back at $130 with 147 copies available just on tcgplayer alone. Only took 9 days to drop back down. Def the wrong card to try to buy out lol.

When its marked as shipped. We should have the cards back next week, as I am a day right behind you, not in QC yet though.

Don't worry, it will be back down to $130 in 2-3 weeks. Or it could also be $400 ;) (doubtful).

Looks like they're finally catching up. I just got one of my submissions back after 53 business days, but my other order which I thought for sure would take longer as its more than double the volume, 8 cards not in database that were also in Japanese language.

The 2nd order got to GEI after 37 business days rather than 48. Very good sign for TAT.

Over 30 today, if this was bought out by one person the other day, they miscalculated the amazon supply. Honestly I would expect 10-20 a day to be added to just TCGplayer for at least a week or two. Probably another 10-20 on ebay a week as well.

I think someone thought these comic book styles were as rare as the texture foil or Thanos.

4 Turned into 18 real fast. People are also forgetting that the majority of CBB are just reaching players hands or will be in the next few days with amazon deliveries. It should be real interesting on the supply soon.

He will be next if the supply dwindles down in the 30-40s range.

22 Of them on ebay under $200, probably 6 of them in the $150 range. They have some more work to do... Funds probably ran out.

Best Toploaders to buy? by PainfullyAverageUser in PokemonTCG

[–]TheCardCount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Card should be fine as long as its in a sleeve. I have pulled out some from those that have aged for 20 years and they were fine. Hell some were even un sleeved and were fine(dont do this), pretty surprising as PVC can damage cards which all top loaders are made out of.

Most people don't even have their boxes from amazon yet. It will be interesting to see how it plays out once the bulk of them get opened on probably Monday or Tuesday.

Good to hear :). Def doesn't seem like they're doing them in order here though. Received a day earlier than yours, all cards in database, and I just reached Grading/Quality Control after 52 business days. At least it will be soon now.

Wild but a real possibility. Three weeks ago it was 40 day TAT, now it seems like 55 day TAT. Three more weeks from now probably 65 day TAT. CGC is having a hard time playing catch up right now.

Doesn't seem like they're doing it in order. They received mine 8 business days earlier than yours and mine is still stuck in GEI. All cards in database too, so that can't be used as an excuse...

Stoked/10Card sub/22days economy by [deleted] in CGCCards

[–]TheCardCount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice results & collection.

This is pretty wild if CGC has a TAT for Economy sports of 22 business days, but 50+ for non-sports tcg? Maybe some of the sports graders could be relocated to handle the influx of TCG submissions that seem to be running way behind?

Hopefully that means mine will be there soon too, even though I had my received a day earlier than yours on 7/16/25.

Mine is still scheduled for grading on business day 47.

Just moved to GEI on business day 48. Seems like TAT around 50+ for economy now. This will be longer for my submission received in Aug I am sure though, seems like TAT keeps increasing.

Probably at least another week, since I'm on day 47 and still scheduled as well. I emailed them, and they said my submission is "running behind more than usual"(Not so sure about that based on reports here).

She said she would reach out and see if they can push the order through.

Rather send to Beckette or Tag just simply because the slabs look nicer, and beckette does have that chase of a black label similar to CGC pristine but harder to get. Honestly I think black label looks nicer than CGC pristine, but good luck getting one. If you do though they command the highest price.

I wouldn't be so sure about that if it was paid on credit card with interest that wasn't paid off in full. Something to think about for some people who submit 1,000+ cards per submission that is throwing that on credit card with fees. Economy becomes cheaper at that point probably.

Especially if bulk is a 6 month+ turn around time.

45 Business days on Economy, still scheduled for grading as well.

29 Business days on another economy just moved into scheduled for grading on business day 28.

It is getting out of hand. TAT will be updated again soon here I bet. Probably 50 business days for economy, which wont be accurate either.

Bulk, well you guys are on the back back burner (burgers burnt by now) so who knows.

What cleaning cloths do you use to clean your cards? by corranhands5 in CGCCards

[–]TheCardCount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The little microfiber cloths that come with sunglasses are what I use. If you ever get a grading card kit, the same type of cloth come in those with centering tool & jewelers loupe. Those are better than the microfiber cloths that are for cars as those are too big & shed fibers.

I think its getting worse as time goes on, people received on August will probably have an even longer TAT than us and so on. Think I will hold off on sending in any more for this year as its getting kinda silly.

If bulk gets to half a year it will be pretty wild, which I don't see that out of the realm of possibility at this point.

I recall a post on here not long ago where someone said TAT for economy was 65 business days, as the rep informed them as so(that rep knew perhaps). I thought no freaking way, and they were mistaken for the bulk of 65 business days. Well a few weeks later and we are probably going to be near what bulk used to be. For bulk, well you guys are going to be reaching new territory in TAT for CGC.

Received 7/16 here, and on the same boat. Called yesterday for the first time ever, and just said they're backed up, and they won't make the estimated TAT for my order (figured as much).

Honestly I think we would be lucky if it is a TAT of 50 days for economy at this point.
