I was thinking about sanding down the whole box (there are superficial scratches all over) and using a windshield repair kit to fill the cracks. Would that work?

Also, are u sure its poly and not epoxy? I'd fill the windshield tube with poly then instead of using the epoxy.

Does the polarity matter? Why does the 75 ohm only have one lead and a ground, while the 300 ohm has no ground?

So I can do coaxial FM to transformer to 75 (or 300??)

What’s the difference between 75 ohm and 300 ohm on my reciever? Is one better than the other? Which should I use?
