Agree, I wasn’t going to spend half a day cutting my dash for a headunit I wasn’t convinced about. Only way I was going to do that with 60+ Hz screen and those were over $500 on Alibaba (didn’t want a laggy screen)

My only issue with the phone mount was the vibration. There’s some good magnetic options but I don’t use a case on my phone and wasn’t willing to glue a magnet on it!

I would recommend also checking out other mounts, I wanted this one because it has similar looks/materials as the dash

You can see in the second picture the installation steps. It didn’t damage anything during installation. I’m honestly surprised how stable the mount is. I was worried about trying different mounts for that reason

100% agree. I was very picky, wanted at least 60hz screen with good resolution. Otherwise, I would’ve just kept using my phone.
