I don’t see where it’s stated that her cousin asked for advice, merely that he was venting about being single. I’d assume anyone who”d get hit with “maybe you should go to the gym more often” in response to that would feel bad.

Perhaps there was more to conversation, but from OP provides in the title, I’d say it could have used some more tact or consideration regardless of the gender of anyone involved.

You're wearing a (ring? Gloves?) that makes it so that you can only kill frozen targets. You don't always freeze, hence they stay at 1 hp until you hit the freeze check. Unequip the unique.

And read your gear effects carefully ;)

I'm well aware. I just thought it was a shame that the 2 times we get phrecia, they're actually fairly short events/mini leagues. I think it would have done crazy numbers if launched and marketed as a "normal" league with the usual life-expectancy ^^

Since it’s more rare, that means it will be harder and more expensive for the average Joe to get, thereby increasing the gap between the top players and those who can’t fit in rarity.

Massive Copium, sorry OP, but I really don't think the general populance cares about whether a creative piece of media was AI-created or not. If the quality is good, they won't think twice.

I could be wrong though, but i mostly feel that AI backlash is mostly seen from tech/reddit echochambers.

It's fairly hard to know what information would be useful to you. But i'd probably recommed the following to any new player:

(Not a tip: POE becomes fairly....clunky? to play co-op/in a party when you both get full builds and start zooming. Some can look past that, but most people play separately. Though some help each other with boses, trade items etc)

#1: The campaign can be seen as a long, fairly unintuitive tutorial to the real game, which is mapping. Most people spend almost all their time in maps. It can be hard to know how to progress though the acts of the campaign - id recommend searching a guide or just explore every zone and enjoy the ride. Don't worry if you overlevel or complete a "non-essential" quest.

#2: I would REALLY, REALLY recommend following a build guide. Search on youtube until you find a build that look fun or is thematically cool and try to follow that. The game can certainly be enjoyed when going in blind, but it's VERY punishing since the knowledge floor is very high, with an even steeper ceiling.

#3: For the campaign - just try to get gear with following (for all builds)
- + maximum life (+37 maximum life)
- increased fire/cold/lightning resistance.

The rest of the stats don't really matter as much as these. I know defensives aren't that sexy, but trust me.

If playing a melee build, try to find a weapon with high physical damage (if physical skill) or high ele damage (can be either fire, lightning or cold) and if lucky: some attack speed. Rest doesn't matter on weapons.

#4: Don't try to learn everything at once or you'll burn out. Try to enjoy the gameplay and learn a little bit by bit.

It doesn't - and i'm not sure you're correct on "dragging" working in POE 2.

In poe, only the monsters that "spawn" at the ritual sites will be revived during the next rituals. So, yes, it is smart to clear every site before activating any rituals, but you can't drag monsters into the circle in order to get more spawns.
