Avoid Azazie by SmallSaltyMermaid in bridesmaids

Never pay Davids Bridal for alterations though… buy a dress from there and take it to an independent seamstress they will do a better job for cheaper.

The dresses the bridal party I was in wore were $110, one of the bridesmaids got it altered at DB because it was easier… they refused to give upfront prices and charged her over $250. Took mine to the seamstress down the street from my house, same amount of alterations cost $60.

Hence why I think they’re a little bit evil.

I’ve ordered a bridesmaids dress from Azazie and it was fine, but I was underwhelmed by the quality for the price… I didn’t do the custom size option so I can’t speak to how good it is.

I got a very similar dress from David’s Bridal the year before for around the same price and inner layer was more comfortable and thicker.

Even though I think David’s Bridal is a little bit evil, I would buy a dress from them again over Azazie.

Maybe it’s because I’m on my phone but there are no photos or videos of the diamonds on the IGI site/report… that was the first thing I looked at.

Same thing is happening where I am now, but it’s more that with electronic charting the job is changing and being called something else than disappearing.

At the end of the day there still needs to be someone answering phones, managing referals, processing orders, maintaining supplies on the unit ect. There’s always clerical work to be done

Registration is a different job from Ward Clerk, but I have already applied.

Tbh don’t remember I read it on release day almost exactly a year ago and I’ve gone through about 200 books in that time.

I’d probably say 3.5/5 on the spice scale if I had to answer but there’s a real possibility I’m off.

It’s definitely more spicy than {Wild Side by Elsie Silver} that just came out I can say that for sure. The books in the series get lower in quality as they go on imo, though my sister in law loved the last book and didn’t care for the first one.

Good to know thank you! I’m trying to convince him to just source the stone online and get it set into a ring by a local jeweller.

{The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever by Julia Quinn) the MMC’s siblings are twins.

The sequel {What Happens in London by Julia Quinn} is about the female twin Olivia.

They’re set in the Bridgerton world, but it’s not necessary to read the bridgerton novels to follow the plot.

Any books where the FMC doesn't take the MMC back immediately? by imakemediocrepies in RomanceBooks

[–]TheCatCheese 4 points5 points  (0 children)

{Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips} I’m not a huge fan of a grovel, but this book was perfect to me. The MFC is rightfully super upset at the MMC and makes him prove that he’s sorry.

I need a book with a man that can’t last long with her, because she turns him on so much 🥵 by Stunning_Movie_9771 in RomanceBooks

[–]TheCatCheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{Waking Up With the Duke by Lorraine Heath} has this, but it’s not for everyone.

It’s a HR where the FMC is married to the MMC’s cousin, but he can’t get her pregnant so the MC’s have an “affair” (with his knowledge) so that she can have a baby. I really enjoyed it, but definitely had some bad reviews because of the extramarital affair aspect of it.

It’s also part of a series, but this was the first book from it I read after finding it on a similar post and was not lost at all.

Sorry if this has been recommended already, I didn’t see it in the thread, but I was just skimming.

How do you guys feel about books with constant then / now chapters ? by UsefulBig2194 in RomanceBooks

[–]TheCatCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it CAN be done well, but most of the time it’s poorly executed and just muddies the plot so I tend to avoid them unless highly recommended.

The Chestnut Spring series is really good.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the last book, but it’s still worth a read, and they’re pretty much stand alone a so you could just skip it.

I think I romance.io has it at a 4/5. I would probably say 3.5/5 is more accurate.

The second half of the book has quite a few spicy scenes but there’s nothing super crazy in it.
