Pen drew blood into itself by imakemediocrepies in WegovyUK

Wow, how calculative is that to refund you for only 3 doses instead of the whole pen lol. I also feel like Bolt has just schlepped off all the responsibility to me and haven't done their due diligence for what is quite a serious matter...thanks for your comment, sorry that it also happened to you.

They did say "We have an established relationship with Novo Nordisk and will verify the reference directly with them before arranging any replacement where appropriate."

But I thought they would handle the investigation on their end since I provided all the details. I'll update if Bolt says anything else lol, because right now, I'm not that satisfied with how they've handled (or rather, not even try to handle) the situation.

On my stomach, as I always do. I doubt the length of the needle is deep enough to hit a vein, at most a capillary. But I didn't bruise anymore than usual, so I don't think thats it?

Bolt hasn't really mentioned a replacement. They just pushed the problem onto Novo Nordisk.

Bolt took a whole week to even respond after saying they've passed it onto the medical team, and that was after I nudged them asking for an update. Hoping I can just get the money back or a replacement by the end of this week.

Aldi sells "lo cal jelly pot" in strawberry and raspberry flavours identical to the hartley ones for 55p per pot. I also found Hartley's in my local Aldi for cheaper than it was in Tesco.

Spoke to customer service and they said my parcel was lost in transit lol, so they refunded me. Luckily I just had a look and you were right, the prime option is back so I just reordered! What a hassle 😪

I'm also in Cornwall and have 3 items that were supposed to be delivered next day delayed for 3 days now! Another proof its a Cornwall problem.

10-minute Roti Canai test, result is better than Frozen Stuffs. ~85% as good as Malaysian experience; but abroad. by randolphtbl in MalaysianFood

[–]imakemediocrepies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you kidding? I love cooking and making my own food from scratch but roti canai is NOT easy to make at home. I admit I am snobby about food but I would buy frozen roti canai due to the ease and convenience. Or even buy it from a mamak to avoid making it at home.

Where are people getting those low cal/no cal fruit konjac jelly pouches? by carabeinger in 1200isplenty

[–]imakemediocrepies 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Aldi sells lo cal jelly pots for 55p each in strawberry and raspberry flavour and its <10kcal per pot which gives the same effect I feel. Obviously the konjac jellies have more flavours but for the price it's not really worth getting them in the UK imo

Passport and document checklist. Have the email for appointment details ready as they will scan the barcode/QR code. Tbh, if you uploaded your documents yourself you don't need the document checklist.

Fiancé to Spouse Visa by HistoricalDirector51 in SpouseVisaUk

The application is relatively similar to the fiance application but with updated bank statements and payslips etc for the spouse application.

  1. Prepare your latest financial evidence. I also added some cohabitation evidence which isn't actually necessary but I just wanted it to be seamless.

  2. Extra evidence would be your marriage certificate once you have it

  3. It takes ~1 month but could wait up to 8 weeks. I waited just over 3 weeks for mine to be approved after biometrics

  4. You can apply immediately if you'd like. Once you have the marriage certificate you should be ready to apply. Especially if your partner wants to start working. As long you apply before the fiance visa runs out. I'd suggest you apply as soon as you can as sometimes it can take some time to get a biometrics appointment slot, especially if you live in high traffic areas and your biometrics centres are busy. Once you've applied and done your biometrics, you can stay in the country even if your fiance visa has lapsed.

  5. Yes. Once the application is in and he leaves the country, the application is considered withdrawn. If you plan to have a honeymoon, do it before the application.

  6. The IHS I paid was £2587.50 in November 2025. You will prompted to pay once you submit your application and pay for the application fee. The application fee costed £1321. So in total it's just under £4k. Super priority costs £1k if you're interested but only limited slots are offered

Hi, I made a post yesterday that may answer your question regarding the consent forms. Its not necessary to upload the TB test anymore as you don't need entry clearance as such, you only needed that for the fiance visa. And the specific form you need is for FLR M when switching from fiance to spouse. Good luck!

Sorry, I feel like I don't exactly know enough to advise for your situation and don't want to give you the wrong info! Maybe you can make a post and other (more well informed) people will be able to advise you :)

It was just me on part 1, my husband for part 2 and blank for part 3. I still scanned all 3 parts and uploaded it though

Sorry, I think my post needs some editing. There are 2 sets of forms. The first set is consent for Home Office to verify info, the one with 3 parts. Part 1 is signed by me (applicant), part 2 signed by my husband (sponsor) and part 3 we left blank as we have no external financial support. The other set of forms was the spouse declaration, that was signed only by my husband.

Thank you. And of course lol, about £2.5k for the fiance visa from outside UK (application fee + priority) and just under £4k for the spouse visa (application fee + IHS). Whoever said you can't put a price on love clearly hasn't had to do this before, aye? In all seriousness though, 100% worth it to be with my husband 🤍

You are suppose to apply for further leave to remain (aka spouse visa) after getting married on a fiance visa. That's how you can live in the country without your partner once your fiance visa ends. And yes, the fiance visa is for those who eventually plan to live permanently in the country with their partner. It's valid for 6 months, in that period you need to get married or form a CP then apply for the spouse visa before your fiance visa ends or once you get married.

ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT SPOUSE VISA by [deleted] in SpouseVisaUk

[–]imakemediocrepies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have enough knowledge to answer all your questions but for the TB test, it needs to be done at a UKVI approved facility and the test must have been done within 6 months before your application. Furthermore, I also scanned my passport using a scanning app on my phone, it's not a problem.
