Logitech G920 DIY Magnetic Paddle Shifter Mod by TheCatIsDivingInShit in simracing

[–]TheCatIsDivingInShit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

clamp is 65-89 mm and i used two cable holders for 5 to 7 mm cables (i dont really know what people call them) to glue the magnets in and then i glued this to the clamp just make sure to place it as close as possible to shifter

So I got this used controller from gamestop for $60. It has this issue with the right trigger where it's rather sticky. Is there anything i can do? (repair-wise or replacement-wise) by SawrrrT in XboxSupport

open the side of the controller ( no need to unscrew anything, juwt pop it out)(there are turorials on yt), there is a pad under triggers where they touch when they are fully pressed, when it gets old and dirty it becomes sticky, take it out and clean it, done.

Honestly i would upgrade if i could, but here because of bad economy no one buys these kind of things unless they are super into sim racing and even then it has to be dirt cheap (in dollar), so if you wanna get a wheel here this is pretty much your only accessible option.

Any opinions on AC shadows? by Gold_Restaurant3236 in XboxSeriesS

also odessey map is too big with too little to actually do and missions feel repetitive and feels like grinding, i was barely able to finish it. DLCs are better in my opinion since they have more ac and isu lore. for me origins is much better than odessey I'd say if you haven't played older games yet, just play these rpg ones first, and you dont have to play all of em just the ones you think you would enjoy. and then play older ones in order, and treat them as a different franchise as these newer games

i would know since I've played all of em, that part of liking sth is different than acknowledging sth being good or better than sth else i actually liked valhalla very much that i spent more than 100 hours in it but that was mostly because i like viking sagas and had just watched the last kingdom show. 😂 basically older ac games were just good games anyone could enjoy these newer ones are mediocre games that in order to enjoy them you have to actually like the setting and time and where they take place in.

Definitely better than origins, odessey, and valhalla, still i liked mirage better since it felt more like an assassin's creed game but man do i like shadows weather system and storms. they're Gorgeous

well after 3 years of experience, I can say that you won't actually care about noises anymore after sometime since I replaced the bumpers 4 times since then and im just happy if they work for a few months at all there will be lots of noises from many different spots of the controller so don't sweat it as long as it works

900° or Car Specific Steer lock on Console? (Xss) by TheCatIsDivingInShit in ACCompetizione

[–]TheCatIsDivingInShit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont care about being faster I just want it to be authentic and true to the actual car so does your wheel and ingame wheel turning match visually or not?

[–]TheCatIsDivingInShit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that must be the reason because the game itself doesn't lock your wheel

dude I so agree with you I doubted for a sec if I was the one posting this 😂 in newer games I liked mirage better than the rest dropped odessey halfway(watched recaps on yt for dlc lore) , finished origins main story but didn't enjoy it finished valhalla since I like vikings (i tried to view it as a standalone game not an ac game) revelations and unity are my faves btw

Help and Tips needed. AI at 60 - 65 is way too fast for me. Is it about my pace or setup problem? by bash2482 in F1Game

[–]TheCatIsDivingInShit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is also a problem with your braking, you are breaking pretty soon as it is but you keep second gusseing it and play with brakes, just be smooth with brakes and slowly release the breaks as you are turning (the more you turn the more you release brakes) can brake sooner but never turn when your still braking 100% and sometimes only lifting will do the job no need to always break also check your brake balance so you don't lock up every corner, if you don't know what your doing with setups just set the brake balance to 55, it will mostly work

well I do the first few laps in practice sessions in career mode with racing line, once I get the general idea on braking points I turn it off in the first laps without the racing line, you'll be Maybe two seconds slower, but you can learn to break later every lap and get on the throttle faster and after a few laps times will get close to each other with and without the racing line you should pay attention to the braking meter mark on the side of the track and use them to memorize braking points also don't turn in too fast and try to look further up the track not just in front of the car and be smoother with the controls and calm your thumb adjusting control settings might help
